The control of funds is always in Bitxoe administration and moderators. It's true that neither seller nor buyer can scam it's partner user. That's how it's safe.

The platform is in Beta, we will be keep improving the software and process while considering all the concerns, feedbacks and issues.

The bitcointalk community is huge, there are several legends who provide escrow services and they proved themselves, providing excellent services. No doubt in that.

I think you can not say that your platform is 100% safe and people can't get scammed.

I will choose to trust more some members in this forum for doing escrow instead of using your website.
You also ask for KYC for withdrawal, and I see no reason for this as I think you don't have fiat option yet.

As of now, The system doesn't support cash withdrawal. The users can exchange in supported crypto coins or fiat currencies through P2P swap option. All options are mentioned in the transaction type. Note that, you must know the username of your trading / escrow partner. This minimizes the risk of getting scammed.

Bitxoe portal is up and working fine. Since the portal was launched in BETA, the development team is monitoring the possible errors and bugs to make sure all existing users have good experience.

About Locking Funds:- If bitcoins are uploaded, it gets deposited in a safe wallet which is fully controlled by the platform, the users can't withdraw until seller the completes the jobs or delivers the product. Full blockchain integration is possible before the public launch.

I believe they are not using smart contracts. And I have the exact same question. How do you deal with fiat?

I tried to access to https://bitxoe.com/, it is not working, maybe the problem is on my side but it is better to check it out.

What is the nature of "lock BTC in escrow"? Is it a smart contract for a period? Or does the platform control all things in the sense that you have a database and do not allow the account to withdraw?

If it is a smart contract, the two parties can count the money without returning to the platform, but in the second case, the users must trust you and the support team.

How will the cash withdrawal be made? Do you support bank transfer or any other service?
