Nope, not the users.  We're the 'victims'.  But some of the founders and some of the developers?  Most definitely yes.  They're the scammers.  But as said before, 'there are scammers who don't that they're scamming yet'.

In a few years or maybe even less than that, they will realize that they're really bullsh*tting themselves with all the 'blockchain for everything' craze.

Current price of audiocoin is 49 satoshi so for people who didnt bought it till now its still a good price. A fast 2x is possible but I am waiting for more Smiley I think with more dev updates and news like this it can easily reach 200-300 satoshi again. I am hodling

100% agree with both of you.  Seksi, definitely could reach 200/300, especially with a cultural icon like Bjork supporting it.

If they know exactly what their doing then they're commiting fraud.  And that means prison time for them.  I think Bjork herself has no idea what's going on, but someone in her circle is the type of scammer I described above.  So maybe they can escape prison since they're unaware that they are scamming.  Lol.

that means the majority of users on this forum are fraudulent criminals  Cheesy

LOL!  Its a coin intended for the music industry.  I can't actually think of a more impressive endorser than Bjork.. she's always been at the forefront of innovation.

yes I agree, I think eventually law enforcement will start cracking down, but currently only truly negative situations which result in outcry like OneCoin will result in legal action

Agreed.  All this shit is too new to even comprehend for the majority of people, let alone enforce the law upon.  They'll catch up though... strong opsec coins for the win!  But for now, i'll be following Bjork!  Grin

You know, it would be interesting if someone involved with a crypto project would be pursued by legal officers and prosecuted in court of law. Up to now, we have seen crypto exchange owners on trial like Mt Gox but that is not a cryptocurrency itself.

We have also seen police raid OneCoin and such but again that is not a real cryptocurrency, simply a ponzi scheme with not even a real blockchain, just a fake coin to sell to MLM people and reap commission profits.

Hope Bjork does not get caught up in this.

Pump the coin, sell albums.

Interesting strategy.

Bjork could be one of the best examples of 'there are some scammers who do not know that they are scamming yet'.  That's a phrase coined by Chris deRose to the describe some of the people in the scene who really think they are creating something good but are actually kidding themselves.

Hahaha my thoughts exactly!  However i'm pretty sure Bjork herself or someone in her circle knows exactly what their doing.  I actually wondered for a while which celebrity would be the first to sell their creative work as a means to shill a crypto currency!

In my humble opinion, Bjork should try to upload his music to Voise, a website that offers the artist 100% of the income, in a short time we will see how artists evolve and discover how to get more profitable songs.

Audiocoin isn't a new coin though. It's been around since 2015. So this is quite different from a celeb making their own coin and premining and shilling to their fans.

Lets see how this plays out.

I believe they've purchase a whole shit load ready for a heavy shilling session!!!!  lets pump this baby!!!

Now you have the answer Wink
I met Bjork once and she was really arrogant, which disappointed me a lot, because I paid much for the VIP ticket.
But I made 200% with audiocoin, so now we are even Wink
But I guess I won't buy back, as this is just hype.

Björk announced that not only would she accept cryptocurrencies as payment for her 10th album, Utopia—she'll also give away 100 AudioCoins alongside any purchase.

Do I think AudioCoin is at the cutting edge of blockchain technology?  No.

Do I think a huge celebrity endorsing a product could be profitable?  100% yes.  Bjork is not some passing fad like DJ Khaled who's fans are broke teenager, she's a cultural icon.  Her fans take her serious and have money to invest.

Album release is on the 24th November.  I'll be HODLING.

Do I agree that Bjork is a huge celebrity and pop icon. 100% yes. I may not enjoy her music, but I can fully appreciate her as a statement of music. She may not have the adoring legions that is commanded by the likes of Bieber and what not, but they are the ones around for a long time and I believe more to the demography of cryptocurrency.

Does that mean I will buy and hold Audiocoins? Not really Tongue I won't mind getting free coins if I did buy her album though. Now... when was the last time I bought an album, hmm.

Bjork is an amazing singer and I would buy the album even without any coins. But hey, when the give the coins for free for all buyers, it's ok. Maybe you are lucky and the coins are worth something one day. If not, you still have good music to hear.  Wink
