Can't agree with the OP. I am not an American, but I guess I have enough knowledge on the subject to post a reply here.

First of all, African Americans and Africans are not the same people. African Americans may be predominantly African by blood, but they have significant amounts of European, Native American and Asian ancestry as well. Many of the African Americans, such as Barack Obama and Booker T. Washington would be regarded as non-African, if they travel to that continent.

And I have never seen any concrete evidence to the claim that African Americans discriminate against those from Africa. Most of the African immigrants in the United States live in predominantly African American neighborhoods and intermarry with them. On the other hand, African tribes discriminate against each other on a frequent basis. Look at Rwanda. 1 million people were butchered in 1994, just because they belonged to the Nilotic race instead of the majority Bantu race. Genocides are common in DRC, due to infighting between the Nilotic and Bantu tribes. And in the Sahel region, tens of thousands die every year, as a result of warfare between the agricultural tribes and the pastoral tribes.

It's my greatest wish that we humans should live pass our outward or epidermal skin colour because within the dermis, we are all the same. It's a little bit strange that we discriminate the way we do and yet we expect other men of colour to stand with us in same protest.

I don't see any cogent reasons why some people differentiate themselves from others.
But in terms of technologies whites are more preferable than blacks it obvious and no black can create room for argument or debate for that.

This has always been the truth of the whole thing. Recent example can be traced to Tyson Furry Vs Deontey Wilder  match. Where Wilder was bullied by his fellow black chanting racist comments. Same example goes with Morocco voting against South Africa in bid of hosting the 2010 FIFA world cup tournament.

I think I understand what you are describing, but I think you are misidentifying it as racism. The type of people who act as you describe might appear to be racist, but what is really happening is they exist in a state of perceived superiority and collective narcissism.

You are not like them, therefore you are inferior. They treat black Americans who do not share their ideological dogma in exactly the same way. This is not about race, but about prejudice. The same ideology is shared Among other races of Americans, European, Hispanic, Asian, etc. It is fundamentally part of the human condition, but some people allow it to become a pathological issue.

Africans haven't become initiated into the malignant cultural regression that has resulted from this combination of pathology and level of entitlement, as such they will not themselves be initiated into this ideological cult and constantly serve as a reminder to these people that they are living a lie, and thus will always be treated with hostility. In summary, this is about the lack of diversity in thought, not about race or skin color.

In Africa there is a lot of hate, ancient hate, between differing tribal groups.  In South Africa, look at the buses. Zulu and San won't get on the same bus. Much violence and even murders between these groups and others.

There is no comparable between attitudes of American blacks and Africans.

These had been happening to probably individuals from small ethnic groups. I myself belong to a small ethnic group that when I go to a city the judging eyes scrutinized me from top to bottom. I won't say all race sees minorities to be smaller in some aspect but its what is happening.  They find it offensive but they don't realize they are also doing it to minor race.

It's same for many Indians living in US to diss at Indians living in India.

I think a person who doesn't have feelings and empathy for every human being on a certain issue, they aren't ever "liberal". They are hypocrites. Also I mean many Indians do it, not all.

If anything, American blacks are the ones that are "privileged" for being in the USA rather than Africa, and US citizenship which many Africans are still desperate for..

Even the slaves themselves on plantations probably had better living standards and quality of life than those left behind in Africa..

Slaves were very expensive and valuable, so I think it is mostly a myth that they were supposedly treated so horribly.. Probably had it better off than running from lions and such..

No, American blacks do not hate blacks who are outside of the USA.

I have seen such discriminating videos on social media as well, we all are humans then why we are discriminating each other based on colors, nationality and religions. There are people who respect each and everyone but most of them are not respecting other that is why life teach us lessons from time to time like corona virus and other severe danger to whole human race.

In Africa we have others discriminating against their fellow Africans and this can identifed mostly with the south Africans. Did a thread about it sometime ago titled; The Xenophobic attacks on Africans by South Africans, what's your take on this. that's to say, the Black Americans aren't the only tribe, colour (or whatever they could be identified as) guilty of this offense but what worries me is the way they go all out when they get threaten but don't realize they're doing the same to other tribes most especially black Africans.

Can't confirm this but I read somewhere (online) that a black can gun down as many blacks as possible and nothing will be done per se, talk more of a protest about the crime but lets say if it was to be a white that shut a black whether it's intentional or out of mistakes there'll uproar in all media house, social media, streets etc. Note; I'm not trying to justify any crime but why don't they use the same energy for all crime instead of acting like it's cool when they (Black Americans) does it.

You need to reread the topic, this is not about racism or issues between blacks and whites in the world nor the Asians as well, CryptopreneurBrainboss is totally talking about the blacks reciding in Africa which is our home and black in diaspera that lives outside Africa. We home always are in full support of black Americans but they see us inferior which supposed not to be.

The book- Americana by Ngozi Adichie discusses on the identity struggle within Africans in diaspora especially the African Americans.
Africans shipped abroad were cut off from their history and roots and were forced to accept new identities, so much time elapsed in-between and they can no longer reconcile with what they used to be (Africans) and hence they can no longer identify as or with Africans same way some afro-latinos refuse to identify as blacks even though they are.
The pains and struggles of their transition from Africans to AA may be the cause of the resentment towards Africans. Another problem is history is not taught enough and this further widens the divide.

Tools like the media should be utilized appropriately and every race should be given the opportunity to tell their history by themselves, rather then the poor portrayal of Africa as a remote community or that of black Americans as gangsters. If we can all have discussions on sensitive issues without bias, there may be an opportunity to get rid of the hate.

No, that's not exactly what I'm trying to say, what I meant is that, we the Africans are been treated like we're not blacks by the African American. They (Black Americans) claims, since we didn't not pass through the slavery (struggle) they did, we're entitled to been refers to as black. They see it as an entitlements therefore discriminate against us (Africans) when the opportunity presents itself. Typically they hate other blacks that's aren't technically Black Americans.


I'm kind of confused and trying to select my words appropriately so I won't be misinterpreted. I don't think any color deserve a better life than others. We're all human and should be treated equally. Since they complain about not been treated right by the white they shouldn't treat others badly, they should work on themselves first.

In my opinion, this has gone too far. The whole story has gone from protecting the rights of blacks to promoting the superiority of blacks over whites and the unpunished theft and destruction of shops in many states. I think it is time to stop this, as looters leave single mothers without a chance to go to the nearest store and buy milk for their children.

Wild emotion runs higher among blacks. In addition, physical prowess is greater. That's why many sports athletes are blacks; they are simply stronger and faster, both physically and emotionally.

This means that many of them react emotionally, stronger. It's not that they are hypocritical. It's that they simply jump into emotional response faster, without thinking. It's the way they are genetically built. And it is the way they condition each other.

Blacks have a difficult time getting ahead in life. But they are physically and emotionally stronger. It doesn't make them bad or good. It's just the way they are.

Just as the title says, majority of the Black Americans (using majority as not all Black Americans act this way) thinks they're better than other blacks especially those from Africa just because they were privilege to live far away from their ancestry land. They act like we're not black enough and even go as far as mocking our accents, style of dressing, way of living, food etc. I haven't gone across the borders of my country but I see this ongoing daily on most social media platforms and I'm quite sure most Africans living in the diaspora would testify to this been the truth.

It quite funny as they (the Black American) protest to been treated differently and advocate for a fair system yet they make their brothers from Africa look inferior as they discriminate against us at any given chance possible. How then do they intend to pass the message Black lives matter when they act like not all black lives matter, they're hypocrites, as they're not practising what they preach.

You think it's funny, BET award (Black entertainment television) is the most anticipated black award and prior to few years back, it had the Black sorry, Africa category been given to the winners at backstage. Just imagine the Grammy's doing the same to black Americans and also differentiating between the blacks and white, that's having a sperate award just for the (2) blacks and the rest for the white.

They (the Black Americans) only come up to speak when they feel threaten but enjoy discriminating against other blacks and tribes. It's quite shameful we stand to speak and support them when they need our support yet they make us feel used. Black Americans are racist and hypocrite so until they change, F**k their selfish propaganda, they should used the hashtag that portray their inner intentions 'Black American lives matter'.
