The problem is in the mempool.. yesterday the situation was much better (on average 90-110 sat/byte).

However, all yesterday's transactions have still not been confirmed (although the transactions should have become valid within a few hours).

As far as I a, concerned, such a huge fee have nothing to do with the Blackjack site. It is just the situation with the commissions in the bitcoin network for today. Typically, after halving, transaction fees increase significantly, but within a few weeks the system should reach a certain equilibrium and fees will drop to an acceptable level.

I would recommend leaving your funds in your Blackjack wallet for now. I have the same situation, I won a Blackjack contest last week and received my prize today. There is no point in withdrawing it now, since the commission will be about 36 dollars, and my entire prize is 50 dollars. I'd rather try to play what the Blackjack casino offers. Let's see, maybe by the time the commissions return to normal, I will be withdrawing not 50 dollars, but much more  Wink

I also received it today ( big thanks again @Icopress  Grin ), but that's why I am testing out the site since I am a new member.
And this is something they need to improve in my opinion. I am just stating what needs to be improved to make the customer experience better.
And as I said, at the time of my post the fee for a fast confirmation was 200 sat/b, at BJ it was charged for a 500sat/b fee, which is unreasonable and highly overcharged. It is already a thing that a user needs to cover both fees for deposit and withdrawal. So at least it should be a fair withdrawal fee then, that's all I am saying.

Obviously with these fees it makes no sense to do any withdrawal at the moment. Having won 50$ you would lose like 80% of the amount with these charges, haha.

Since I won in the prediction giveaway and made an account for that I looked around at the site.

So I just checked the withdrawal site of bj.fun and saw "estimated fees" of 0.00057626 BTC  for a bitcoin withdrawal. This amount comes to over 500 sat/b.

This seems a bit steep since that's like 36$, while when I check electrum it would be around 0.00022 for a fee of around 200sat/b, which would be sufficient to get a fast confirmation. So you overpay way too much for a withdrawal unfortunately, this should be addressed and improved.

Does anybody have experience with withdrawing btc from this site? Is the estimation the amount the will use at the end?
I am asking because normally if I withdraw form a site I withdraw all my funds. If there is an estimation of a fee how would you know how much you can actually withdraw? I don't want to make a withdrawal, then the fee was not as high as advertised so there is a small $ amount left on the site.

But the most important thing is the way to high calculated withdrawal fee, this needs improvement asap! You can't charge for 500 sat/b when 200sat would be more than enough, it's like throwing away money.

Congratulations to all the winners, I was hoping to bag one spot, but I guess fellow forum members got lucky here which they deserve. It sure surely a close run with prices around 64k USD and hence difficult to pin point a price to stop at. Hoping more will follow soon and I will be sure to join in more such prediction games and surely bag a prize in the upcoming days.

Also the concur on the prize
Also here to say a big congratulations to the winners as well, I came across the contest at the very early beginning, and I was going to join but I later completely forget to come back 😂 lol.

Prediction contest can be really fun, but it's also one of the most difficult games to win, most especially when the market is in a very volitile state, I guess the reason why some persons managed to win in this halving party bitcoin price prediction contest is because all through the halving period and even till now, the price of bitcoin have been relatively kind of stable, with minor ups and downs from time to time, we are yet to witness any significant run in the price either way, down or up.
The only area where it showed a sign that some thing just changed in the bitcoin network is in the area of transaction fees, which went as high as over 1500 sats per vbyte, before it came down a bit and right is somewhere around; a little below 200 sats per vbyte which is considerably still high if am asked.

Anyways, congratulations once again to the winners, hope to join in other prediction contest in the future.

I didn't follow anything, just picked a random number that seems possible.  Grin
Nice, sometimes our predictions can be very true and that's something to keep in our mind. Although, I follow a strategy as I have been into trading for a few years now but that doesn't mean that I got it right due to that strategy. It's purely luck that allowed us to win the contest.

Too "bad" the price is in btc and they don't have a swap option, it's gonna be expensive to withdraw possible winning with the fees at the moment.
I already had an account on their platform as I worked for that casino in past and they paid me the amount that I asked. I have also noticed that they have a good number of games, and they also allow betting on sportsbook which is going to be my preferred choice to spend some amount of the funds. I hope that soon the amount will be credited in our accounts so we can enjoy some bets, and withdraw the rest of it when transaction fees go down.

Thank you, yeah it's also my first win on a prediction thread too and I'm happy that I participated in the contest. I followed my own strategy to predict the price and actually it worked for me this time.

Thanks to Blackjack.fun for sponsoring that prediction contest, and to Peanutswar for arranging that event, finally thanks to Icopress for taking care of the event.

Hopefully we can run up the price a bit once it's credited and not lose it too quick. I extra made an account for it and looked around the site a bit yesterday. They have a nice variety of live games at basketball, that's a big + for me.

Lastly, if the promotion doesn’t indicate the requirements of KYC which means they will not ask for KYC. You can use the promotion rules as your basis when you won the prize.

^ How much must a user have in his account before they require KYC?

I am hoping to see whether I could grow my altcoins by wagering them to some sports when i found out there is already sports in the casino. Why is it that when you deposit and altcoin, it's converted into USD?

I’m not really sure because It’s been a long time since I do the KYC on this casino. AFAIK I start doing KYC after I accumulated a total of deposits more than 5K but it’s a case to case basis because they sometimes ask KYC earlier depending on your account activity such as how frequent your withdraw/deposit, your bonus activity and different criteria related to your account activity.

One thing I remember about the casino KYC is you can’t access your account during the process so it’s better to verify earlier if you don’t want to get stuck your balance if you require KYC while you still have balance in there especially if the amount is huge.
