I see - thanks for the info - well at 1 hr and 8 mins we don't have a new record then (which I am glad about as am currently awaiting # of confirmations to trade).

It happens every now and then, nothing all that unusual. I think our record since last April was ~1h 40m, but that was when the network was rapidly dropping speed after the price dropped from the $30 peak, so it was a combination of bad luck across the network and difficulty being higher than actual network speed should be supporting.
Waiting now for 1 hour for this block to be generated (according to http://blockchain.info as well as what I observed looking at http://blockexplorer.com).
