Why did you decide they were scammers?

Why?

as it is possible that a project that supposedly should be serious has this problem:

I couldn't find any video that one of their team member comes out and talk about their project and ICO. They have a youtube channel and they don't want to upload or do a live streaming to show that the team is a real team. Personally I don't look at LinkedIn profiles as anyone can create a fake LinkedIn account and show that they are professionals. There is no exact address to find out whether they are really exist as a start up.

It's a suspicious ICO for me.

If they do not want to prove that they exist and are very responsible people then they are scammers

Why then do they still chat?

you must follow the appropriate format: Scam Report Format (Use it to make scam reports properly)

Scam report example:

What happened::
I saw escrow.ms's lolipop thread 4 days ago and placed a order for 1000 lolipops. After I sent him payment, he just went offline and never came back. I think he's a big liar and a scam artist. Stay away from him.

Reference Link:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/selling-1000-lolipops-for-2-bitcoins-260070

Amount Scammed: 2 BTC/$176.40
Payment Method: Bitcoins
Proof of Payment:

PM/Chat Logs: https://i.imgur.com/8UbLVSc.png
Additional Notes: I advise you to not deal with this user until this dispute is resolved.

submit the maximum of Proof you can get, in this case you can copy the proofs of this reddit link and put them here in the thread. Well, people should do research before investing in anything and in the world of ICO this should be the absolute rule: research on the project as often as possible, never stop researching about the project

but this does look suspicious.

 they are scam

The BlockBroker ICO is ongoing. The CEO's name is 'John Jacobs'. Jacobs' profile picture appears to show the same person as a Photographer named 'Alex Amadeo'.

Although I don't value ICO bench one cent, but this does look suspicious.

Thanks I'll stay from this.

I was presented with this. https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrencies/comments/8j4wps/is_blockbroker_a_scam_ceo_has_a_doppelganger/ < Makes logical sense

I asked John about it directly. He cursed at me and told me I can't question him...

The ICO Bench team has removed the project as well from their site.
