Altcoin.Center has taken over development of CannabisDarkcoin since the original developer has disappeared.
The CND block chain has forked and we're working to find a way to merge the forks.

The situation at hand is similar to what could happen to Bitcoin as well if something broke the Net into separate "islands", creating possibly even a very big number of disconnected forks of the original block chain. Altcoin.Center is now looking for true block chain ninjas to come up a way to merge the forks of CND.
While important in itself, the project also acts as a learning and testing ground, helping to find solutions that will be urgently needed if/when the Bitcoin block chain (or any widely used block chain for that matter) forks into two or more pieces.
