Try the non-working card by itself remove the working one.  If it works it's the Power supply.  If it doesn't move it to another slot...if it doesn't work it's the card, if it works in the other slot its probably the slot itself.

Do you have another PSU you can test with?  I would try it also without the computer at all and use it to JUST power the cube if you have another way to access it.

Tried your suggestion by removing some of the blades and moving the bad one around. The same ASICs show up with X's. I contacted the seller and they are shipping me a replacement blade.

Thank you for your help!

What type and model of PSU?  Cubes are very picky about Power Supplies so a quick guess is that is the problem.

Also assembly suggestions are in a post, but they state to check the heatsinks (screws) and seating of the cards within the case prior to using the cube because things can come lose during shipping.

Yeah, I cracked it open as soon as I got it and made sure everything was seated properly and heatsinks were secure.

The power supply is an Ultra X4 600W modular power supply.

Hi everyone,

Need a little help with a block erupter cube I just got. Got everything setup and got it started mining. When I go to the web interface for the cube I see that for one of the blades there are 8 X's however the other 8 show O's. All of the other blades have O's.

My setup is I have this connected to a PC that is running however I have both PCI-E cables plugged into the Cube. This is a very basic PC that doesn't have a video card or high end CPU or anything that would draw a lot of power. The power supply I have is 600W which should be more than enough for the PC and this one cube.

I've tried playing with the settings and restarting the cube, etc. and so far nothing has work. Is it possible that one of the blades I have is bad?

Thanks,
Bigdave
