About that Hub,

Apparently the actual company site says they are not suitable for bitcoin mining:

This hub functions as a USB hub only, to connect USB 2.0 and USB 1.0 devices to your computer, and is not a standalone device charger.
This hub is not recommended for bitcoin mining.

Sorry for misleading the community. I actually have one, and it works fine with 3 sticks and a fan attached to RaspberryPi.

As a note for others looking for a good hub for the Pi,

check out Satechi 12 Port USB Hub with Power Adapter & 2 Control Switches on amazon.

Are you shipping to Canada?

Can do if you want to go via btc and the forum.
( Paypal/ebay duo seems to be no go due to the lack of recorded mail from the UK to Canada )

How much BTC are you looking for?  Please PM me.

Think I got it all working today by having a relative plug them in and out. Needed to update cgminer. This is on a 'Pi.

I'll still sell the one on auction but might just keep the rest now. Depends how the person hosting it feels about it.

Thanks for the hub link.
It turns out they say that my USB hub should power them properly. Well, I'll still sell for whatever the going rate is, which I presume is higher than 0.1btc

lol at the buy now listing

"You may be using language in your listing that affects the buying experience and reduces trust in the eBay marketplace.

For example, you shouldn't say things like “h4te eBay” or “h4te PayPal” because it may discourage people from shopping on eBay.

*This kind of language could also prevent you from achieving the eBay T0p-rated seller status or could lead to your being removed from the programme.

Be sure to keep your listing friendly and professional, and only include information that helps buyers decide what to buy and what to expect when they get the item."

for me and many others ebay is dead.... iv stopped all buying and selling on there and even gone as far as boycotting paypal to...

No reserve auction:
Item 281164802250
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=281164802250&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

Cheap Buy it Now's:
£40 item 281157818183
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=281157818183&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

I've plugged one in for a while but it was too much for my Pi. Ordered a hub, cheap chinese rubbish wrong one arrived. Ordered another only to find only 2 of the ports are powered contary to the ebay ad. Then ordered a third hub...
enough of the madness. Time to let someone else do it properly! Like plugging it into a normal server more reliable than a Raspberry Pi. I can't attend to this as I'm never in one location for long anyway. Let someone else have fun with it.
