I had some downtime earlier in the month, and am putting the explorer on indefinite hold as I try to stabilize it in my local environment and secure a better hosting plan.

The funds for the outstanding days and a little extra for his troubles has been returned to g2x3k in the following transactions:

Darn it. I misspoke, I meant to say that the top bid was 600LTC.

My profuse apologies. I'll extend the auction by an additional two hours from now. That's two hours left from the time of this posting.

Looks like I screwed up the date in the post. The auction ends on Wednesday, just not the 14th, but the 16th.

That's eleven hours left, on the spot.

Must the advertisement be related to litecoin?
No. I have no requirements other than having a static image (no animated GIFs), and no pornography or explicit content.

Thank you for your interest.

I would appreciate it if this thread could stay on topic, and if any other questions to me or about me could have their separate threads created or sent to me via PM. Thank you.

Quite a demand since this probably belongs in Marketplace.
I don't expect much interest from the Bitcoin folks, and figured this would be a more suited category.

So do you own the web site or does someone else?
I do, obviously.

i.e. have you decided what you did before was wrong and reversed your decision on it?
Have you paid back those before who you did this to and thus you can now be trusted in exactly the same situation?
No. If someone has issues trusting me they are not required to take part in the auction. Hopefully the amount of work and money I've invested into my Litecoin services will make running away for a couple of Bitcoins stupid, but oh well.

If you haven't reversed your decision and paid back those you scammed, you should clearly state that: in the event there is trouble with the web site out of your control you will not refund anything (as you did before with BTC)
"I reserve the right to stop displaying your advertisement at any time under the condition that I return the funds equivalent to the amount of days of runtime your advertisement had left."
You need to be more vigilant, I stated this. If an earthquake happens at the datacenter halfway through the advertisement period, I will refund half the payment. Or you may even pay on a per-week or per-day basis, if you're really paranoid.

If you don't own the web site then there is the issue that if something should go wrong, you may (as you did before to get your scammer label) say it was out of your control and not refund anyone and keep the money.

Reasonable and directly related question since you haven't mentioned that above.

i.e. have you decided what you did before was wrong and reversed your decision on it?

You see, as with everyone, there are consequences to your actions ...

The ad spot at http://explorer.liteco.in/ is up for auction to the highest bidder.
The auction ends Wednesday Nov 14 2011 18:00 GMT+00. Your advertisement will be active for 28 days, starting at the latest 3 days from the time of the auction ending.
Sizes 260x160 and smaller are allowed (try to keep the width at 260 pixels).

  • I reserve the right to stop displaying your advertisement at any time under the condition that I return the funds equivalent to the amount of days of runtime your advertisement had left.
  • I also reserve the right to deny advertisements if they are of a malicious or explicit nature.

The auction ends Wednesday at 18:00GMT (Nov 14 2011 18:00 GMT+00), I tried making the time suitable for people from every time zone, feel free to let me know if this does not work for you and I will reschedule.

Current top bid is 525LTC.
Bids can be made in private over PM if you so desire. Limited website statistics will be provided on a per-request basis.

I would appreciate it if this thread could stay on topic, and if any other questions to me or about me could have their separate threads created or sent to me via PM. Thank you.
