Still Web 2.0  Embarrassed
People were talking about fancy new technologies and called it Web 3.0, 4.0, ..., 53657.0, (I do not remember all the version numbers, though). Am I too gullible?
Now there are those fancy new ICOs that claim to use blockchain 3.0, 4.0, ... technologies. What do you think about them? Is there a slight chance that Ethereum (which is considered blockchain 2.0) can survive against those fancy blockchain X.0 ICOs, where X > 3?

I would say the Web 1.0 was the original text, hyperlink and image pages.

Web 2.0 would have been the introduction of HTML5, which allowed content changes without refreshing the page.

I don't know what the next major leap will be to be called Web 3.0   :/

Hi everyone,
I stumbled across some project (https://seele.pro/) that claims to be Blockchain 4.0 and immediately thought:
Hey it seems like we are in sync with Industry 4.0 and Web 4.0 Tongue  (Or do we already have Industry 13.0 and Web 27.0?)
Let's just assume for now that we didn't miss major upgrades and Industry 4.0 / Web 4.0 is the current state of the art.
Maybe we should merge Blockchain 4.0, Industry 4.0, and Web 4.0, keep the version numbers synchronized, and just refer to it as 4.0  Huh Roll Eyes

Furthermore, since the minor numbers have never been used we could easily drop it and just say: "Hey, lets talk about 4".
To make things a bit easier, I suggest to use C for the current version, N for the next version, and L for the last version.

My question:
Is L dead?
What do you think about C?
What could be a good name for an ICO that uses N?

Have a nice day  Wink
