Blockchain is just a database. While indeed it can hold signatures, for example, I don't think it can hold code that scans/disinfects.
Also, I didn't see any incentive for antivirus companies to give other companies their signatures.
Maybe I'm wrong, but decentralized scanning will have to wait for somebody with better ideas Wink

Sorry I was thinking about  how  blockchain technology could  help  modern antivirus  and malware recognization...   because if  blockchain could  help  this sector  I would  have invested in some  projects related  to this  ''sector''  (antivirus,  decentralized scanners..)
