Thanks for your replies. There seemed to be two transactions involved as I got a notification that there were going to be fees for each one. I assumed it would be okay as the app prompted me that it was a feature before I did the swap.

There is no Bonk balance at all. It wasn't a huge amount but I was just concerned that any further transactions would have similar outcomes, if indeed this is the final outcome.

My apologies if this is the wrong forum.

I can't access my account for whatever reason, nor create a new account but by looking at the "Swap process" from the Defi web wallet:

https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026018231-How-do-I-place-a-Swap-order

I can see that you get to choose the account you want to swap from, or swap to.

Are you sure you're looking at the "correct account" after you're swapping? that's probably why you cannot see them in your balance?

For those wondering, OP is probably referring to Blockchain.com app. They started supporting BONK as of a couple of days ago:

@OP Can you see your BONK balance anywhere? I mean does it show zero, or you cannot even see it listed? If the latter, then maybe you need to activate activate the coin somewhere? There are some wallets that do that, just can't recall if Blockchain wallet does that.

First of all there is no direct swap from bitcoin to bonk, bonk is on Solana blockchain and not on bitcoin blockchain and you can not swap between them except on platforms that allows it’s bridging where they take your bitcoin and return the desired coins for you. Or exchanges that you sell bitcoin and buy the bonk which is the easiest way. But there is no straight swap

So you need to state which bridging platform you use or otherwise check the bonk address on the solscan explorer

Welcome, This is a bitcoin forum.

You should give more details about your altcoin and services you used, otherwise we can`t help you here.

If you saw the transaction confirmed in the blockchain, and you sent it to the correct address, it should appear in your wallet. If it doesn`t, it may be taking some time to sync.

Apologies, I am pretty clueless...

On the Blockchain app, I swapped Bitcoin for Bonk. The transaction is confirmed but I cannot see my Bonk on the Blockchain app DeFi wallet. Where could it be?
