What I’m really excited for is the convergence of the metaverse with physical goods.

Companies like 4K that are creating physically-backed NFTs will eventually enable users to bring their assets to the metaverse.

Blockchain is real while metaverse is an imaginary world. There's no comparison between these two. What's the use of buying a property which you can't use in real life? What's the use of an jpg image which you can't touch? This metaverse concept is invented for fooling people to churn out money.

Mark my words, this entire metaverse and NFT thing is bound to fail. These are just hypes in the market and nothing else! Don't fall for such traps!

One of the interesting things in the metaverse room is the role of Pengkuna as the biggest content contributor.
This is a little different from the previous version of Könsep Digital Universe where content and experience are shared with companies and users

I think crypto and the metaverse will merge. There will be DeFi farming like Ref Finance and Gaming in the Metaverse. NEAR Lands on NEAR Protocol is an example of that.

The word "Metaverse" is made up of "meta" and "verse"; the term is typically used to describe the concept of a future iteration of the internet, made up of persistent, shared, 3D virtual spaces linked into a perceived virtual universe. Source: wikipedia

Developing technical standards:

  • Virtual Worlds
  • Information technology
  • Virtual World Region Agent Protocol (VWRAP)
  • The Open Source Metaverse Project

The metaverse isn’t fully in existence, but some platforms contain metaverse-like elements. Video games currently provide the closest metaverse experience on offer.

Blockchain, metaverse-like applications already exist and provide people with liveable incomes. Axie Infinity is one play-to-earn game that many users play to support their income. SecondLive and Decentraland are other examples of successfully mixing the blockchain world and virtual reality apps.

SecondLive:
3D virtual environment where users control avatars for socializing, learning, and business

Axie Infinity:
a play-to-earn game that’s provided players in developing countries an opportunity to earn consistent income.

Decentraland: an online, digital world that combines social elements with cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and virtual real estate
