Hello and thanks for taking the time to read the details of this project Smiley

What is FileBlockr
After much checksum research and development, I've created a small framework which generates a sha256 checksum which can be compared to other users in the same ol' Blockchain fashion we have come to love.

Essentially, this will allow us to verify data integrity in a decentralized environment. Just another layer of security for your data.

In the long-run, the goal of this project is to create a desktop service which scans user applications and files to check for inconsistencies. With a decentralized peer-2-peer data integrity platform, we can be assured that we are running the exact version of an application -- not having to worry about inconsistent data or untrusted files.

In it's current stage, it is only a simple web-service that scans a single file and stores it on the blockchain. There is a lot of concept to implement and prepare for the launch of a service Cheesy
