Thank you for your support guys!
After a sleepless night I tried a completely different password this morning and it worked!

The address was under imported addresses, this is why BIP39 wasn't showing the correct address of course.

Tonight I'll try to get the BCC coins before transferring my address. I'm not sure if this makes a difference but I assume that it does.
That's nice that you solved this issue on your own, I guess you must write your password to a paper in a safe place so you will not forget this, And also  a suggestion don't use any BCC/BCH wallet online where  you can see in some youtube videos where you are going to download a software or use a phishing sites to get your private keys so stay away from that since there are people encountered like this.

Unable to solve this problem I decided to try the BIP39 tool. After filling out my 12 word phrase the tool generates endless amounts of addresses but none of them are mine. I'm using one address in the Blockchain wallet.

Do you know whether this address was under your default wallet, or under imported addresses? If the address was imported from a legacy blockchain wallet (before they revamped the wallet last year and started using BIP39), then it would have shown up under imported addresses. If that is the case, it unfortunately won't be backed up by your BIP39 seed.

Hopefully you can manage to find the password somewhere and access that key if that is the case. Good luck.

You must paste your recovery phrase on bip39 converter orderly, the same as you get this seed on blockchain from 1 to 12. So if you accidentally interchange the order of this seed even knce only they will produce another set of new addresses. So must double check this or it will so hard to recover your address tho it has a chance but will takes time.

Hello everyone!

I'm using a Blockchain wallet and in order to have access to the BCC coins I wanted to find my private key. After logging in to Blockchein I noticed that my secondary Blockchain password was not working. After setting the password up some months ago I have never tested it but I have been very careful and I have kept a copy of the password somewhere.

Unable to solve this problem I decided to try the BIP39 tool. After filling out my 12 word phrase the tool generates endless amounts of addresses but none of them are mine. I'm using one address in the Blockchain wallet.

I hope that someone can tell me what to do now.
Why doesn't BIP39 not give me one address? Am I supposed to generate (press the show button) addresses till I have found mine?
Might there be something wrong with my 12 word backup? Is it safe to create a new backup?

I guess that I can recover my wallet using the 12 word backup, is it best to this after I have obtained my private key and BCC coins?
Weird though that my second password doesn't work but I've read that I'm not the only one with this problem.

I'm a bit overwhelmed at this point. I hope that someone has a moment to help me, I would really appreciate it! Smiley
Thanks a lot!
