Farewell o_e_l_e_o
I have a few cents to contribute to your topic. What if you categorize those books, movies, and documentaries? Bitcoin, blockchain are very general terms, and I think you can do better. If you can categorize them, it might be create. If it makes sense, now it's time for you to think of which categories should be used here.

You have missed some of the interesting and important books about blockchain and bitcoin. Though Andreas book on mastering bitcoin is top-notch, they are targeted specifically for developer audience. He takes his writing from a simple newbie style to an advanced developer-understandable writing.

Digital Gold by Nathaniel Popper was one among my favourite books on the history of bitcoin told from a newbie perspective. The book talks about Hal Finney's experience with satoshi on the night of the first software announcement, what paved the attack on Mt.Gox, Winklevoss investments and some of the key important moments in the history of bitcoin over the years. If we start reading the book, it would be more like a Bitcoin Movie rather than a book.

Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Technologies - Princeton University Though I have never read this book, but thinking of trying it out in future. This book delves much deeper into the cryptography and technical aspects of the digital money.

Internet of Money A collection of talks by Andreas in the form of a book. He talks about the economics behind the money and more importantly why you need the digital money and why they are better than the fiat money. Must have a read if you are interested on knowing why you need to use Bitcoin and move away yourself from the fiat thing.

Apart from your mentioned books, these are much needed if you want to have a clear grasp on the concepts and economics behind the technology.

Was this a quality (informative) post? Yes. it hasn't been merited doesn't say otherwise.
Are you honestly calling copy-pasted material a "quality post"? A "slightly better spam" might be more fitting.

It seems tmfp agrees with you Smiley

I appreciate it must be difficult for non English speakers to "rank up", as you put it, just wondering whether wholesale copypasta (reformatted or not) is the way forward?

Good selection of Books btw, nice list Smiley

@OP you could have used column and row format  to make it look better for viewing.

I believe all these are so so important aspect for anyone interested in Crypto industry. As because of this one can easily understand a lot of things which normally is hard to understand.

I would suggest this for all Blockchain Books, while here you can also find out about Documentaries as well. So that is something very special and makes life easier for everyone who is starting up in this massive Crypto industry and are struggling to know the right direction for it.

I have seen a lot of videos and some of them have been created in my local language, many of which contain fake information because those who create these videos do not check from sources or individuals as many talks about their personal opinions instead of the facts.

As for the books, I prefer to watch the videos on reading, but perhaps take @LeGaulois's recommendations.

It's part of a marketing strategy and OP is doing it right. I do sell gadgets (phone, laptop etc) and i make use of the pharse a "must use" even when i don't use those device so i see no hard in him using those words as far those videos and books are educational in regards to understanding blockchain and cryptocurrency.

When you sell the gadgets you are owning them, you checked them and verified their working condition before selling. You know the technical specifications of the device even you are not using them.

Here OP is suspected to know nothing about the books and topic that OP is recommending.

I give zero fucks about merits.

Keep telling yourself that until you actually believe it or tell that to someone that really cares about listening. He's trying to sell his post not a product most lower rank user do it, it's a little better than spamming. Merit is a motivation for them to contribute positively so if they're doing it right no problem. Was this a informative post? Yes. it hasn't been merited doesn't say otherwise.  Maybe next time you should concentrate more on the positive side of posts instead of criticising at every even opportunity.

Lol my bad didn't see the reference he gave, although I still benefited from the post. So I'm good

Probably. But maybe, just maybe, the Beginners & Help section isn't the place to "sell" something? As the name suggests, it's for Beginners. Marking something blindly as "must read" and "must watch" is BS.

Maybe if you stop attacking those that are successful at what they do you might learn one or two on how to achieve the same success because we can't deny the fact every lower rank user desire ranking up to the next rank.
Maybe there's this thing called 'criticism'. Not every negative feedback is an "attack". I give zero fucks about merits.

(There are 2 versions of Mastering Bitcoin). Most of the books and videos are good for an introduction to Bitcoin, blockchain, etc but if you're already in the crypto space you will maybe find the books pretty boring. And it can happen quickly when you're not reading a book in your native language. If you need content for advanced users, I highly suggest watching Andrea's channel on Youtube, this guy is awesome.

By the way, you can add the following videos to your list if you want

The Blockchain & Us https://blockchain-documentary.com/
The Bitcoin Phenomenon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6pWblf8COH4
The Bitcoin Doco - Episode 1 & 2 https://vimeo.com/112223859
Magic Money: The Bitcoin Revolution https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVo5wCSnmSs
Life Inside a Secret Chinese Bitcoin Mine https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8kua5B5K3I
A Podcast: Hash Power – A Documentary on Blockchains & Cryptocurrencies http://investorfieldguide.com/hashpower/
Living on Bitcoin for a Week https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27VZ6gYYNOA

TedTalk has also some videos on youtube on conferences related to blockchain, fintech, bitcoin, etc,
with good sexy speakers \\( . ) ( . )// Even when it's not about cryptos I'm watching  Grin

Any persons who want to learn more about Blockchains Must watch and read all of these.

Since you're claiming that these content are "must watch" and "must read", have you actually watched and read every single one of these? Or are you just saying so just so you can make another merit bait topic?

But the use of pictures was rather to much on this post and making it long and informal the names and author of the book would have just be right.

Also marketing strategy, irrespective of how informative or educational your post is, you have to make it attractive i.e presentable in the best form that suits you (although don't over do it). The use of image on the post was one of the main reasons I got attracted to clicking to view some of the videos.

I don't see anything wrong with the post, it's just Ok and OP keep doing what you're doing, some of us are actually benefiting. I never knew of those movies you highlighted, Thanks

Books, videos are very important for learning and research and it would be also helpful for anyone interested in cryptocurrency.
The list of book mentioned by OP are really good I have laid my hands on some. But the use of pictures was rather to much on this post and making it long and informal the names and author of the book would have just be right.

Some athuors find just about anything to write about and sell, why would someone pay for  "collected writings of bitcoin creator", those are all available on the internet for free plus you gain almost nothing from reading what statoshi said years ago !

Because they don't know those text existed on the internet before?
I believe they won't even bother to buy it if they have read or known about the writings before.

Collected writings of satoshi sound like a sacred book that's enjoyable and insightful to read, even if the content is just satoshi post history here Cheesy

Since you're claiming that these content are "must watch" and "must read", have you actually watched and read every single one of these? Or are you just saying so just so you can make another merit bait topic?

We both know the answer.
