This is good news. I didn't know a whole country's national ID system was in blockchain tech. Things really are looking good. In other news, banks are starting to incorporate blockchain tech too.

Banks have been interested with the blockchain technology ever since this been shared by Mr. Nakamoto but they don't care much about Bitcoin because it is a thereat to them as a currency and a store of value. Banks are fighting the incursion of the cryptocurrency into their business but they know they can use the technology behind all of these things to enhance their operations and profitability.

Blockchain has already changed the world a lot, so it's even hard to imagine what will happen next. As far as I understood a lot of people work in this area.

Very interesting and useful article! I think that this forum has few people who doubt that the world will not change! we are at the very beginning of the development of the crypto market! and I am sure that the development of the economy and the world has increased with the advent of blockchain! The world is changing, but still there are people with big wallets that put the sticks in the wheels!

Yeah, blockchains—an open-source distributed database using state-of-the-art cryptography can facilitate collaboration and tracking of all kinds of transactions and interactions. Eg who paid who and what was paid, electoral results, examination scores, etc. The data cannot be tampered with.
It is sure going to make data more trusted and transactions seamless.

We can make a lot of money by investing in blockchain, and the same blockchain technology has changed the development of the Internet today.

Just as the Internet boomed in the 1990s and the technology that followed changed the rules of business games, the blockchain is gradually changing the operating rules of some industries.

Sierra Leone became the first country in the world to use blockchain technology to verify votes in its most recent election.
Swiss-based company Agora logged and verified each paper ballot digitally using specialized blockchain technology.
Sierra Leone's elections could pave the way for blockchain technology to shape elections around the world.

While the bitcoin boom may be fleeting, there is growing interest in how cryptocurrencies can affect people's lives.

To put it simply, the blockchain is like a book that can be edited by anyone in the cloud and decentralized, which means things can be done more quickly. Due to decentralization, once the data is recorded and difficult to tamper, the data in a block will be irreversible. As a result, blockchain is another safer way for people to exchange data.

Some places and companies are already using blockchain technology, not just the currency itself. Estonia relies on blockchain technology to run its national identity card, similar to America's social security number; Nasdaq allows estonians to vote on the technology online at shareholders' meetings; Kodak will start using it to track photo ownership.

Block chain security features also helped some companies, such as wearable technology products company Augmate, block the application of chain technology ensures the intelligent equipment can safely communicate with each other in the home, people can see the process of information is transmitted.

Now at CES, entrepreneurs are touting the future of this technology -- how to use the block chain technology in the future.

1. Payment

Impact PPA is a power company that produces generators. The group has generators in 35 countries around the world. The blockchain allows ImpactPPA to quickly provide power to the person in need, without waiting for hours or days to avoid a bank freeze on client property.

Dan betts, the company's chief executive, showed how it works: by app, he bought a power-generating system in hyderabad, India, for about 60 seconds. After processing his request in the blockchain, the generator started up after just a minute or two. All this takes place less time than paying for electricity on the Internet, and it doesn't have to go through international transactions.

2. Emergency help

The Guardian Circle is a security company that wants to use the blockchain to bring emergency services to a new era. Founder Mark Jeffrey has experienced a seizure when he was alone at home. The Guardian Circle will use the blockchain to send instant alerts to people you choose -- friends, family members, medical professionals or their own security personnel. This is different from the 911 system or similar advanced warning application, and even if you're already using your phone, it can quickly and securely automatically send your location to your pre-selected person. In addition, it also can let these people talk to each other and make them easier to coordinate how to handle an event - for example, if your mother know you have allergies, but the first on the scene of the neighbor but don't know.

3. Centralized idle computer resources for video processing.

VideoCoin USES the blockchain to help solve one of the problems facing the modern Internet, and how to support video synchronization around the world. VideoCoin wants to develop all of the world's idle computers, such as desktop computers that you have left unused at work, to help solve the problem. Using the block chain, VideoCoin can reach many people at once, track them, and gather the power of idle computers and idle centers. Those involved can store and deliver video, or use their computing power to process video -- and get VideoCoin's own digital currency as a reward.
