You can then paste that string of characters into the Eligius site, and Eligius will broadcast it to the bitcoin network for you.

Other than Eligius, you can also push the raw transaction on https://btc.blockr.io/tx/push

I wonder if that is why my electrum wallet was having a problem syncing today. Does anyone know if that would cause that? Seems to be fine now though

Nope. Electrum uses different server not Blockchain.info . So I think that may be another problem. Smiley

"Error 522" for me. Blockchain.info is not very stable in the past few months. Luckily I am never in a rush to send any money while it was down. Is there an alternative online wallet I can trust?
https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet

Green Address and Hive are good. I suggest you use Green Address. You can get a plugin for chrome. Smiley OR why don't you use DarkWallet. Its in Beta stage but I tried and so far no problem. Smiley

If you can see your transaction on the blockchain.info website then ...

You can add:
Code:
?format=hex

to the end of the transaction URL in your web browser.

You can then copy this hex representation of your transaction to your clipboard and paste it into eligius's web page for pushing transactions:
http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/pushtxn.php

This will allow you to get your transaction broadcast onto the bitcoin network while you are waiting for blockchain.info to fix their netowrk issues.

Example:

If your transaction were:
https://blockchain.info/tx/3ca9820a28de24ff7fedf1be48a65bf0e24f9606d7eb09be1548c9d5546f1b1f

You can go to the following web page:
https://blockchain.info/tx/3ca9820a28de24ff7fedf1be48a65bf0e24f9606d7eb09be1548c9d5546f1b1f?format=hex

Which will result in the following hex representation of the transaction:
Code:
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

My transaction 4hrs ago is still unconfirmed.  Anyone else facing a similar issue?

Seems like they are offline, maybe under an attack
Cloudflare is giving 522 errors
https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200171906-Error-522

A 522 error states that CloudFlare could not make a TCP connection to the origin server before the attempts timed out. This means that CloudFlare was unable to send the http request to the origin as no network connection to the origin server could be established.

sent and comfirmed? Its been up and how for a while now. I think maybe they are behind on blocks and thats why my wallet shows 0, and that the transaction isnt confirmed?

I sent this long ago....

https://blockchain.info/tx/914b38acf571f3e0f8dbfd0970ed8ac0f3b2bc447b59ffc4f72f7eba573e015c

but when you search the tx in other explorers it shows no records. Yet is gone out of my wallet.....  Are they even aware of this issue?

It's down again. A transaction was sent from my wallet and I'm not sure where it is now. Same issue as yours..

This is a 3r time this has happened to  me. I really need to download another client on my desktop and avoid that site.
What happened the first two times. Did you get your coins back>?

They eventually sent i think one time, then the other they were back in my wallet.

I was in the middle of making a purchase and it crapped out on me. Awesome! Anyone ever have that happen?

Not yet. What happened when you tried?

Blockchain did the adios to the funds, but the other side still does not have the payment. This is what I get about the transaction when I don't get 522 errors from cloudflare:

 Sent Time: 2014-10-03 02:47:46
Confirmations: Unconfirmed Transaction!
Double Spend :No Double Spend Detected
Transaction Fee: 0.0001 BTC
Network Propagation: 0% (Very Poor)

Yes, Blockchain.info is down.

Glad I just took my coins out of their wallet....

your bitcoins are not in their wallet.

your private key (imagine it as simply the password to a paypal account, where the public key is the email address for people to send funds to) is stored on blockchain.info. but the coins are not in that wallet.. just the private key.

maybe its best to backup your private key (export) onto paper or another client so that you lot are not reliant on blockchain.info soo much.

even if blockchain.info shuts down, having the private key means you can access your funds from anywhere
