if only we were back in the days of 2009-2013. when the price per byte decreased when the bitcoins valuation increased.

but no.. people heavily in blockstream want to blame users for not paying enough instead.
yes the OP undercut the "suggested" fee of blockchain.info.. but people should be more concerned that the "suggested" fee is based on the concept that the base fee per byte is no longer decreasing as bitcoins value increases.

fee inflation will destroy the desire to use bitcoin.. far more then the potential deflationary promises of bitcoin value will inspire users

It is not my fault that the transaction size (in KBs) is large.
It can be your fault indirectly if one of the following applies:
1) Usage of online wallets.
2) Usage of too many inputs and then complaining about large fees (which means that you don't know how fees work anyways).
3) Other factors.

Blockchain.info suggested a Tx fee of BTC0.001, and I paid BTC0.0002 instead.
Comparison to traditional systems: Try sending a payment via your bank and ask them to include a fee 5 times lower than what they ask for (require) and see what happens.

its not a small amount。just compare with paypal service, paypal $200 transaction $0.80,blockchain transfer single address $40 transaction fees $0.50,higher than paypal。which service better?

It is really getting frustrating. A few days ago, one of my transactions got confirmed after 5 days. Blockchain.info suggested a Tx fee of BTC0.001, and I paid BTC0.0002 instead. It is not my fault that the transaction size (in KBs) is large.

Bitcoin is obviously better. Just because you don't know how to properly use it, don't pin it on the network. You can send 1$ and $1 Million for practically the same fee. Try doing that with Paypal and get back to me.

not many input, just sending to poloniex account
Without giving us more information there isn't much that can be done. I highly doubt that it is a standard TX (unless there is a problem with blockchain.info itself) with a few inputs. For a media TX size the fee is around 5 cents.

That's a very bad idea to use Blockchain instead of a real wallet where you would own for real your bictoins. To be back on topic, that's surely the fee that Blockchain takes for themselves.

I was just thinking that myself, I have seen couple of gambling sites do that, they deduct 20k Sats fee per withdrawal but add only 10k so they save 10k per withdrawal, not sure if Blockchain wallet has started doing that too but it could be the case.

OP, a suggestion, take your private keys out of blockchain wallet, import them into a desktop wallet like Electrum for ex. and then push the tx with fee it suggest with 50k Sats/KB.

Taking keys out of blockchain.info wallet:

New wallet: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.15008846

if you do not want to pay fees for any of your transaction then use xapo wallet, they will pay fees etc for you, and you will get and send your full bits.

i would like to sent 0.07 btc to poloniex, blockchain transaction fees 0.00093+。。。why so high??
why this time blockchain fees so high?

someone help me。。T。T

the fee goes up based on the size of your transaction.
it means if you have many inputs/outputs in your transaction the size becomes bigger so you have to pay more to send it.

(unless i see tx or at least bitcoin address can't say for sure) but you must have a couple of small inputs in your address that add up to 0.07BTC (for example 7 x 0.01BTC)

not many input, just sending to poloniex account

The reason fees are high can be two things: Either you have a big transaction (lots of inputs and/or outputs), or the recommended fee is high which is most likely due to blocks being full (so you need to pay more in order for your transaction to be included in the next block) or it can be a combination of both Smiley
If this is the case, whats going to happen when more and more people start using BitCoin and legitimately use it for every day transactions. Could BitCoin support an economy without high transactions?

I think you have recieved so many small size of transaction before i mean in fraction like 0.001 btc and if you try to send 0.07BTC than input for that transaction will be so much so also the size will be big thats why recommended fee is high to make it go through without any delay.

What a problem?it's a small amount and can make your transaction smooth and not having a problem with your transaction. The fees are fair for your amount it can make success and take a short time to have a block confirmation.your fees will give an effect for your transaction.

Current fee calculation in some exchange automatic. because some of the first events that resulted in late delivery because of the fee is too small (default).

IIRC you can manually change the fee when you are sending coins, or not? I am not sre about this.
0.00093 btc should be enough to push your transaction bro, I think the fee is enough for tha amout so that shouldn't be bothering you too much. You wouldn't want your coin to get stuck in confirmation due to lack of fee, right?
That's what I'm also thinking. That maybe the fee really depends on the amount that you will be sending. Well I'm not that sure on the exact amount of fee that should be deducted to you because I haven't tried to send such amount but it seems just okay for BTC0.07 that you'll be sending. I read before that the fee is charged per 1000 bytes or part thereof. But I don't understand the computation, they are using some sort of codes there.
