This turning into mobile app as well is a big breakthrough in blockchain gaming, maybe there are others but I have never heard of crypto currency used in any mobile game before. That means right now people are playing a game where cryptocurrency is the in game currency and it can be reached by billions of people all around the world, that is not something you can just say "yeah cool" and move on, that is like a new barrier of gaming that didn't exist before these guys came along.

Not sure about Android but for Apple that is the first game ever to be launched on the App store that uses crypto.

I really liked the animation in the video introduction, so I decided to give it a try. I found the background music a bit distracting, but I think it's okay. What is worse is that it takes a lot of time for the website to load after registration. The main page was loading a bit slower than usual as well, but it was not a big problem. When I filled in the details to register, though, the screen just stuck on the loading sign. It's been a couple of minutes now, and it's still loading. I checked my email, and there's no confirmation ling there as well. When I pressed F5, I was signed in already. I tried playing, and I think it was pretty nice, but I wish there was more interaction between monsters!
Good luck!

I've had some loading issues over the last 2 days when trying to open the "Cage" where you can deposit/withdraw your crypto. It used to be near instant but now seems to hang a bit. Hopefully it's just some temporary wrinkle that gets ironed out soon enough

I wanted to ask if there would be a free trial of sorts ? I mean the game looks great but there is no way you can play it for free, maybe a limited way where people could play a part of it while not spending but would require spending for the whole game? Limiting the users with only payers doesn't seem like a good marketing.

Good to know that there is no house edge and also the know that this is one of the first gambling games that can be download from play store and Apple store. When can we have the same games on the browser web and the in App because one may want to to use a single mean to play all games app/browser. And when will you start accepting deposits in other cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin.

This looks good to me,Good way to past some time and relieve some stress .
I would try this one soon and hope that there would be a PvP so me and my friends could enjoy it.

It doesn't work with my browser too.I guess that my browser isn't up to date.
Awesome graphics.I really like the "nasty monsters" style. It's time for the crypto game developers to create more complex games with high quality graphics, people are getting tired of the dice games. Grin
Is your game "probably fair"?You didn't mention this in your thread...

Yes it is! see my comment above yours or here:

I just check on your video but it is keep on loading without playing, please fix it so I can watch your video first then try the game. It is pretty unique but I do not understand how this is play and hoe to determine the winner here. I know it is a pvp based game but how can we win a maximum amount from the other players? It is not so easy to understand as I can say

I just checked the video and it was working just fine for me. there are also other videos on youtube if you just search "blockfight" or you can just check the game out at https://www.blockfight.com

The winner is determined by the blockchain and is provably fair. This excerpt is from Block and chain games website:

Random Number Generation From Hash
Random numbers are generated from a hash string, so that by using the same hash string, the same resulting numbers will be generated in the same order. The hash strings will be retrieved from the block chain using a Halo Platform API call.

How a Hash Generates Numbers
A hash is a string of hexidecimal characters (0-f). By itself, each character is 4 bits of data (value 0-15), but combining characters can produce higher ranges of values. Two characters represent 8 bits (value 0-255), three characters represent 12 bits (0-4095), four characters represents 16 bits (0-65,535).

When a random number is requested we look at the range requested to determine how many bits of data we need to achieve that possible range.

For example, if 1-6 is requested, then we know the range is 6, which is 16 or less. That means we can use a single hex character to determine the returned value. If 1-20 is requested, then the range exceeds 16 but is less than or equal to 256, so we can use two hex characters to determine the return value.

Since the value of the hex characters may exceed the requested range, we use the modulus of the requested range to help in determining the return value. For example, 1-20 is requested, then the range is 20. If the hex value is 30, then the effective hex value is 10.

The output value is adjusted by the minimum requested value to get the final output value. For example, the hex value is always 0 through something, so if 1-20 is requested, then we will first generate 0-19 from the hex value (after modulus), then we add 1 to get a possible value of 1-20.

When the generator has reached the end of the hash string, it loops back around to the start of the same hash. Each time a loop happens, the character index interval is incremented by one, to prevent using the same values over and over in the same order.

For example, let's say we have a 64 character hash, and we're requesting numbers that require 2 hex characters per value. After the first 32 numbers are requested, the next number will be generated from character index 0 and 2 instead of 0 and 1. See the example hash below that marks each used hex digit with a ^ symbol.

Right now it's not PVP, but they did say that is something that they are looking into is an option for PvP fights. Blockfight is a dice game that is similar to etheroll.

Patch notes from the recent update:

Quote
v1.003 (2019-03-12)
- Fixed bug that caused error when turning off visibility of the currency (from settings) that you used while the fight is still in progress.
- The last used dice are now associated with the account instead of the device, preventing confusion about which account owns which dice.
- Added "HOT MATCHUP", where if a matchup is winning more than usual in the last 100 fights, the win % of the last 100 fights is shown instead of the pre-calculated win %.
- Added support for low quality mode on slower devices (automatically enabled if low FPS is detected).
- Display of ties is now more clear that the banked tie amount is added to the total damage when a non-tie is rolled next.

Looks like there was a new update pushed out! I haven't seen the patch notes for it yet but according to discord they have added a feature called  "Hot Matchup", according to the team:

Quote
A hot matchup indicates that in the last 100 fights, the amount of wins are higher than normal, so it's pointing out the increased win % of the recent fights. This is across all players, not just you. In the next update, I plan on adding a UI that lists all the hot matchups to make it easy to find and choose them.

Play Blockfight for your change to win a tier 1 Halo masternode (400 000 Halo)

From their Discord:

So far, we've celebrated winners and we've celebrated, uh, less winners. This week's challenge will reward 1 winner AND 1 loser. The player who has either won OR lost the most Ethereum in Blockfight will win a TIER 1 HALO MASTERNODE. The masternode is worth 400,000 HALO, but the daily rewards from it are a gift that keeps on giving!

The competition runs until 9 am PST next Monday morning. No need to post screenshots (but you're welcome to if you want), we have all the information we need as long as you're in our Discord or Telegram community.

So double down on Ethereum this week and come play Blockfight now! https://www.blockfight.com/index.html

This is amazing I saw the game logo and I think this is more interesting rather than other game because in this gambling you can earn eth or someday they will study to develop in playing bitcoin. I think more gambler will encourage to do and play with it because it is looks intersting. I think player will easily understand the game flow. And even in the middle age of player older will perform this play.

Thanks I'll pass the compliments on to the Block and Chain games team! I mean it's not designed to beat Fortnite gaming wise but it's definitely an entertaining way to wager for ETH or Halo, or BTC soon!

It will be good viewing if we use Chrome and it works perfectly in my Chrome browser.
It works now in my extension chrome, but I still have doubt, usually, I didn't download into my extension chrome.
However, I like the game, but the interface is something I don't understand that much. In my own opinion, putting monsters and arena with caves, temples and the frozen tomb is not a very good idea.

People will come into your site to play dice and not to play a game like a common android game you can download on google play.  But let's see what will happen. I like the way the player could have a character and like they are playing with people with a different character you can actually while playing a gambling game. It's like playing an arcade game plus gambling.

They are constantly working on the flow to make it easier for new players to understand. This is of course geared more towards people wanting to score some money, it's just a more fun and interactive version of Etheroll and it's much faster as well. They definitely have to start somewhere. If you want to see a crypto game that's going to attract the masses then check out Decimated that's being built on the Halo platform as well. Also check out their ambitious in game economy as well, it is a MUST read!

I dont know if this is the similar name wayback before or just change its name(correct me if im wrong).

Sad, it doesnt work on Mozilla

Actually it does work on Mozilla! I just got it to work, you have to have Metamask installed first. Then you can play with the free in game currency or with ETH. If you want to play with Halo you'll have to download chrome and the Halo Chrome browser extension.

Maybe he needs to upgrade his Mozilla so he can try the game, but I don't know for sure because I don't use Mozilla Grin
It will be good viewing if we use Chrome and it works perfectly in my Chrome browser.
But I don't want to download the extension, and I hope that there is a way to use another way to join with the site.

There is another way to join, you can login with username/password instead of Halo extension! also you can use metamask if you trust it more, the halo extension only has to be used if you want to play with Halo  Grin

It is great to see Blockchain technology being integrated into gaming , especially because a big company like Halo has accepted to be a partner or this. Does the game work on a mobile browser or is there an app? Or do you still work on this?

It does work on a mobile browser with just the in game currency I'm pretty sure. All of their games are coded so that they can easily port over to a mobile app, they just need a mobile wallet at this point to be able to interface with playing with Halo and Ethereum.

pretty sure more gaming apps will integrate blockchain tech.
this is another good avenue for crypto mass adoption.
and based from this article, about a third of people on this planet are gamers!

https://gaimin.io/how-many-gamers-are-there/

creators of those crypto games will have a serious business here!
From there, this adoptions will be a big outbreak for businesses to also see the benefits, gamings platforms already catered most of this new ages,
we will see how things will be well developed and the offers that would bring new spice with this gambling industries.

Getting interested with the graphics designed so nice to begin with.

This is a new game with no name change, not really sure what you're referring to. As for the browsers, they are currently looking to make the Halo extension compatible with Mozilla as well as Blockfight! Knowing this team it won't take long.

Announcement from the BnC announcements channel in the Halo discord:

The Blockfight Launch Giveaway has now concluded and I will be drawing and announcing the winners tomorrow. We had about 100 entries into the draw.

Based on feedback received, we are taking a different tack with the remainder of the campaign. Instead of a draw, we are transitioning to an Airdrop campaign, where everyone can earn HALO for a variety of actions, including social media sharing, playing the game and joining our community. People can earn up to 5000 HALO each through these activities, PLUS we are going to continue the weekly draw for 100,000 HALO.

Why do this? Besides having a broader appeal, switching to an Airdrop allows us to post on high traffic sites like Airdrop Alert and various others.

We have posted the updated campaign on our home page with clear steps to earn: https://www.blockandchain.games/#give-away

So please spread the word and share the great news about Blockfight!

It's definitely an easy way to earn 5000 halo! You can either wager it away and try to earn more on Blockfight, or you can use the 5,000 Halo for a share in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Halo masternode that will continue to earn more rewards!

I agree, the game had also an auto play and nice animation when the dice is being rolled and the monster attack the opponent. I did check the video and it's 2% commission. The game also accept fiat but I don't know what credit card is accepted the OP better include the information on what credit card will be accepted to buy halo coins.

Yea you're right, there needs to be a new updated video done about the gameplay that shows the new features like Autofight and the updated cage. I've added some pictures to the post to show off some of the additions. It's super easy to sign up and play, you can either download the Halo browser extension and use it to sign in with and then deposit Halo or Ethereum (with metamask) or you can sign in with a username. Let me know what you guys think about the gameplay!

One thing that we are seeing people become confused with is how the tie's work. So if my fighter rolls a 3,2 that gives me 5, and if the other fighter rolls a 4,1 that gives him 5, so its a tie. So the game will then roll again, if I roll a 3,1 then that's 4. It adds up from my first roll, so 5+4=9. If the opponent rolls 1,1 then he has two, so 5+2 = 7. So I win with my 9 over his 7.

Credit cards can only be used to buy the in-game currency which only has value inside the game and can't be transferred out. You will also get the in-game currency by signing up or with daily drips where you can get few thousand coins every few hours. And when playing with these "game coins" the commission is 5%
The Halo team has planned a fiat onramp as well but that probably won't happen any time soon - a lot of hoops to jump through for that.

I really think blockchain games are going to dominate the gaming landscape in 2-3 years.  So many great things in the pipeline, not just from Halo Platform either.  Esports are becoming bigger than Nascar events and smart contracts ensure that winners get paid...it's the future...and with real working coins like HALO so cheap, this may be the time to jump aboard before the train pulls out of the station.

Maybe there are many other smart contracts will launch the similar games in the future and if that happens, then we can see a new trend of the project that will use games as their base project and Ethereum will still apply in the smart contract section.
Once the project can get success, it will make people attracted to invest their money in the project because the project can be a new promising of income source for the investor. We will see it later in the next few months or the next year.

No house edge at all! 2% commission for Halo and Ethereum matches, 5% commission for the free in game currency. You choose what percentage of chance you have of winning with the different fighters. It's very similar to etheroll.

I actually liked your site but I believe it would be cool to have some free matches, free of prizes, only to allow new people to understand how the games work before they have to register and deposit

Actually, funny that you mention it. When you sign up you are given 100k free ingame coins to play with. Every 3 hours the loot chest is available to win more free in game currency. After getting the gameplay down then you can deposit ETH with Metamask or deposit Halo. I've won my fair share of Halo in Blockfight matches. I even won some exclusive dice in the last community contest! Here is the announcement from Devin Seto in the Halo discord regarding this weeks community contest.

"Thanks to all of you who participated in our weekly contest. We were astounded by the sheer number of games played by all of you and, as expected, there was a vast array of results per player.

Well done players! I will reach out to each one of your directly with a redemption code for the special edition dice.

Now, we love winners. But we love losers too! At the end of the day, we're all players who enjoy fun games. So this week's competition is for our "lovable losers":

Anyone who completes the "Don't Stop Believing" achievement and posts a picture of it in their Achievements page by Monday at 9 am PST, will receive exclusive early access to the Draggin' Dragons closed beta, days before anyone else gets access.

Please note, "Don't Stop Believing" won't appear until you've completed "At Least You Tried" (lose 10 battles) first. Also, you don't need to play with crypto. In game coins are fine too.

Good luck!"

I really think that you got a great site here to feature a fighting game with the use of blockchain technology, which is I like, My first impression on the site as I thought that this is a Halo game on the X-box but then I realize that it is a Halo Platform or coin which is I don't have any idea about it, And a good opportunity for the Halo coin to increase value that is $0.000779 USD

I actually liked your site but I believe it would be cool to have some free matches, free of prizes, only to allow new people to understand how the games work before they have to register and deposit

Well, I agree that with this, the site may need to have that kind of arrangement in the game because I think players may also need to check the battle scene on what they may do in the game or what strategy they can about this gambling structure.

Yea they actually have an agreement with Microsoft in regards to the name. Halo is still extremely under the radar right now. They have Instant free transactions. There are no gas costs at all. So I can send you 10k Halo right now to your Halo wallet and it would appear before you had time to even look really. Decimated is building their MMORPG on the Halo platform due to it's speed, free transactions, and reliability.

see decimated game trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NB-ENl6i_os

Horizon state is also running their Blockchain voting platform on the Halo Platform. The South Australian Government just ran a 50,000 vote through using blockchain voting. see here:

Plus the Scottish goverment is looking at using them as well if i'm not mistaken.

What I'm really getting at here, is that Halo is the perfect blockchain for real world use cases, ESPECIALLY Blockchain gaming. The MMORPG game that I mentioned above is very very interesting and ambitious with it's own real in game virtual economy.

Now Available on Google Play store and iTunes App store! The first Blockchain game allowed on iOS to use in-game crypto!

February 27, 2019 – Block and Chain Game Studios (https://blockandchain.games/) is pleased to announce the public release of Blockfight - an exciting creature-centered dice battle game built using blockchain technology. This visually immersive and technologically cutting-edge battle game is the first title published by Block and Chain Game Studios, an up-and-coming blockchain gaming platform.

Blockfight is an immersive online gaming experience where players battle grotesque monsters, displayed in high-res 3D. The beasts take massive hits all based on the roll of the dice, which rely on blockchain technology to ensure truly random and provably fair results. Just select your character and how much you want to risk on the fight and your characters will battle it out to the bitter end.

The creatures battle for guts, glory, and valuable rewards. Beat them all and fill your trophy room – and your digital coin wallet! Players can play completely free to test the waters, thanks to a generous allotment of in-game coins provided by Block and Chain. Users who want a bigger thrill will undoubtedly want to try their luck with a favorite cryptocurrency, such as Ethereum and HALO.

Blockfight is free-to-play and can be accessed directly on the web: https://www.blockfight.com/

Blockfight may be a new title from Block and Chain Game Studios, but it’s built on top of blockchain technology that is well-established. This is possible due to Block and Chain Game Studios’ partnership with Halo Platform, which has built some of the most robust and reliable blockchain technology available today. This cutting-edge platform will make gameplay and cryptocurrency flows on Block and Chain’s platform nearly seamless. If you’re a developer and have your own crypto-based experience you’re wanting to show the world, we suggest you roll the dice around in Blockfight a few times just to see how easy and seamless it is to integrate with the Halo Platform.

Block and Chain Game Studios is a division of the Halo Platform aimed at encouraging the development of blockchain gaming and introducing the gaming community to the benefits of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

Here is a gameplay Youtube video showing the gameplay! I might add that the game is BROWSER BASED, you don't have to download anything! The video is lower quality, if you want the real quality then just go to https://www.blockfight.com and it automatically loads the game! It doesn't include the new updates to the game that allows you to autofight up to 100 matches without having to click anything! It is also using the older "Cage" instead of the newer updated one that supports metamask for Ethereum support.
