my os is windows 8.1 and i dont know much about bitcoin or nodes you are talking about can you please explain me about the nodes or how i can fix this problem

#1 Press "WindowsKey + R" it will open a window like this
#2 enter c:\Program Files\Bitcoin\bitcoin-qt.exe -connect=84.200.34.113 in the "Open:" line
You might have to change the path if you installed Bitcoin somewhere else. And you might need to change the IP depending on your location. I used the first in the list. (see below)
#3 press ok
#4 wait till you are synced
#5 shutdown bitcoin core
#6 start the way you usually do.
