Dou you have btc at wallet at the time of fork?

Was created 3 years ago...  Don't see it under settings :S Sad

Your wallet was created 3 years ago? So in the end did you have bitcoins there at the time of the fork? If yes and you still can't see an option for bitcoin cash. Then you should contact their support regarding this [ https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/requests/new ] as they can verify it anyways and as well as you. Just post your address on any BCH block explorer e.g. https://www.blocktrail.com/BCC.

You can also export your private keys on blockchain.info and import it in any BCH client.

Sweet will do.  Thanks

Go to settings and on the general tab you should see a bitcoin cash option there. Please be informed that if you didn't have any bitcoins stored there before the august fork, that option will not be available to you. Its strange though because if you've checked your email they sent their announcement with a short instructions regarding this.

So you mean to say all those newly created wallets won't be able to exchange because there is no option?? I just create a blockchain wallet recently.

Yes. I can confirm there is no option for bitcoin cash on people who didn't have bitcoins there at the time of the fork because that also goes for me. This is because blockchain.info are only allowing limited support on bitcoin cash it means they do not fully support it and actually, It shouldn't be considered a BCH wallet in the first place. If you want a true BCH wallet you can go to their official site for a list of wallets.

I just found this on blockchain.info

Please note: if you did not have any bitcoin/BCH in your wallet at the time of fork then this option will not be available. The Blockchain.info wallet is not a true BCH wallet. We are only making these funds available within our wallet to users who had bitcoin/BCH at the time of the fork.

So that was the case. Thanks for this info. So i guess i better change to other wallets. Any suggestions? Those safe ones by the way.

Thanks for this information Mister.
I am also looking for this before and cant seem to find answers. Now it is all clear to me. Guess I am still a newbie when it comes to altcoins and the blockchain wallet. There is more to learn.
Even if just a low amount of BTC you will still have that option?

You should try to export your private keys to another wallet who is supporting bitcoin cash, but yes, if you bought those bitcoins after August 1nd, you are not able to receive those free coins because it is too late to receive them now. But why didn't you claimed those coins when the fork happened? it has almost been more than 3 months since that fork was done, you are a little bit later to the party since all of them were already distributed. But good luck with them, i hope that you can claim them after all.
