Its very normal from blockchain.info's wallet because its their kind of security and anonymity but even if you used the very first wallet address that blockchain.info made for you, you will still receive the bitcoin, it means that all wallet address can be use in receiving and it will not expire.

As all said you don't have to worry about missing any bitcoin sent to your previous address blockchain have created fore you. But if you like to stick with one bitcoin address to remember or to have proper tracking import bitcoin address which you can make using bitaddress.org (download it and run on offline computer/mood) than you can scan or enter private key paper wallet have into your blockchain wallet > setting > imported address > add new and you will see one bitcoin address under imported address. Now you can spend any bitcoin from that bitcoin address or receive bitcoin to it.

"A new address has been created for you to receive bitcoins"

That feature of the new blockchain wallet is called an HD wallet. It was implemented to enhance the security and just like what they have already mentioned, it is for the reason that you will not have not re-use the same address. HD wallet generates new address but it still is from the same wallet so which means all previous will still be able to receive bitcoin.
If you want to have an ordinary wallet, you can create one from a different wallet then export it and import it in your blockchain.

When I clock on the receive button on blockchain, a diffrent adress appears every time I press the button.

"A new address has been created for you to receive bitcoins"

Im trying to give me adress to someone else who will be sending me bitcoins in a few days. Would I need to click the receive button right before he sends me the code? Or will this code not expire.

Addresses are created frequently to ensure your safety and anonymity from hackers. The long code is called an address and that acts like your wallet's receiving location. Money sent to that address will add to your balance. An address never expires. You only add more of those addresses into your wallet as time passes.

Addresses never expire for your account, so anything sent to that address will always be sent to you/your account. It generates a new address every time you receive funds for what I assume is anonymity's sake, but I don't know for a fact.

Everything kind of gets lumped together, so you never have to worry about anything being misplaced. it will all show up on your dashboard.

i believe blockchain.info does that to prevent the address reuse issue which any bitcoin user should avoid. (read about it here: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Address_reuse) and i am not using blockchain.info anymore but you have to make sure those addresses remain in your wallet, go to your wallet tab/section and see if the addresses are available which they should.

They won't expire. You can give your friend any one of the addresses you created, they'll all work.

Copy that code which in fact is your bitcoin address and having given that code (bitcoin address) to the sender ask him / her to send you your bitcoins to that address. Hope you got it now.

Hey there, thanks for the reply. I get that I need to send this code for the person to send bitcoins, but I am worried that blockchain wallet says that it creates a new address for me for every transaction so I don't want the adress to expire by the time he sends the coins which results in my not having them.
