I saw this update too. It's very good thing that blockchain is working on improving their services. It's very convenient to have possibility to buy bitcoins with credit or debit cards but at the moment I find the fees high. Maybe this will change in the future.

Nice update. Blockchain always improving their service, that is why I like this wallet! Good feature for who is looking for it, but at this moment I don't have interest on credit-debit cards to use BTCs. Maybe for european people it can be more interesting now.

maybe later i will later check my blockchain since i am not using blockchain anymore because i don't like to see the high fee than the other wallet but its still a good news for us and finally we can use credit & debit card funding is available on blockchain.

What fees are you talking about ? I don't see any fees higher then the usual wallets , blockchain.info simply pays the network fees (the recommended ones to get your transaction confirmed as should be) unlike wallets like Multibit HD where you send 1000 satoshi per transaction to the developers

The recommended fee there is very high when we set a transaction, we don't have a real estimation. It's necessary to use another site to see the recommended fees at the respective moment depending the time you want to have the transaction completed.

Where is my ring of blades...
I actually like this feature, and although I have not yet used it myself but I believe it is a lot better than using coinbase because unlike coinbase, here you can have access to your private keys and they do not control anything. and also unlike coinbase you only need an email address to open up a bitcoin wallet, I don't know what kinds of information Coinify is going to ask for but at least your bitcoin wallet is not limited.

Finally they offer a service next to the wallets. I was worried about theirs business model, but this makes sense.
I do hope they will eventually allow us users to finally download private keys. This should be on their main priority list.

Nice update but is it available in other countries? I am looking for a cheaper way to buy bitcoins instead of using a local  exchange which has a lower rate compared to other exchange site so maybe if the fees aren't high enough I will also try this.

Yes this feature there is in many countries and as say "The rate offered by your region's exchange partner. May include fees". I did not continue after first step; The only I know coinify creates an account and associates it with my verified email address. I don't know the payment method. Maybe is SEPA but I would prefer e-banking. If everyone has bought he could inform us. I really like the conversion rate. Today is 1 BTC = €751.31 and using localbitcoins in my country1 BTC =  €767 the cheapest trader.

Blockchain has launched live online the option fo fund your wallet with credit and debit cards.
I opened my wallet this morning and I got a message regarding this option.
The new feature is possible after a partnership between Blockchain and Coinify
I'm located in Europe - Spain
I have also heard about blockchain going to add this option few months ago and it seems they have opened this for european country on this Christmas time. Can't wait for this feature to be launched for all of their users, hope they may not get into same legal trouble like coinbase in future.

Seems like the new update is country specific.I'm in Central Asia and don't see any update as such. They're slowly moving into trading and exchanges.Good for us.Sad part is,they actually track your locations and Ip's.

You can literally buy it from 50 other exchanges.

Unfortunately, I didn't get any such message. I even checked my 'Buy' section and didn't see that option.
I guess it's really for their Europe-based customers for now. Wonder when they'd think of adding Asia.
Still, that's great news for you guys, who got that option.(If the fees aren't too much)

Interesting news. How about fees? If it's not big, this feature will become popular and very useful. I'm currently not at home and can access my blokchain wallet and check, does this feature already available in my country.

Bitcoiner since start, and continue to love it!
I remember they launched the Beta in UK only and wanted to go to the whole Europe after. It's a good thing I suppose since there is a lot of people using Blockchain.info wallets , so It could target a larger audience with an easy way to buy . I want to know about the fees though ? how much do they charge compared to Virwox and other services

I will test later and let you know.
Anyway since the payments are processed by Coinify it shold have their fee.
I see that they have a exchange rate of 1 BTC = $788.82
