This is one of the beauties of the blockchain. You can not hide it when no one is using your project. And you can evaluate which project is most used quickly. Without relying on third parties.

Dapps are still in their infancy, Dapps that only have low daily userbases will not die if they are still struggling to find consumers, I believe consumers Dapps will continue to grow because of data breaches and irregularities in centralized applications will make consumers and investors aware of the importance of transparency and decentralization

I guess mostly of people are still interested to use centralized apps. Not all of the dapps developer can be trusted by anyone. I remember about vdice and any other casinos platform.
if you can see that how DRG becomes another fail again. So, the blockchain is about the competition between trusted and untrusted person.
Yes, I also don't rebut that centralized applications still lead the market, but it would be more appropriate if you said that not all developers can be trusted, maybe you are too focused on some cases of Dapp failure, but I think that number is very low when compared to centralized applications that fail
Most people are only familiar with centralized apps that already have many users even most people still trust centralized apps when data breaches have been proven, have you read the news about centralized apps that use customer data for personal gain? are they worthy of trust?

And it's right. I wait when the most of "revolutionary ICO" will die and we can see actually working projects with the idea, team, and users. It'll be painfull. But we need it. A year ago I don't see such "empty" projects. Their death as market clearing will lead to qualitative change

very true, when nobody is using a token or even a coin that means failure.

but the other way around is not right though because you can not categorize the different tokens based on their volume,... and claim that because "this one has more transactions it is better".
failure in my opinion is when you create a name that is only used for trading and nothing else! there might as well not even be a token, blockchain,... we may as well go on an exchange and buy/sell the "names" instead without them being anything in real world.
