Where would you store you assets for safety?

From where I sit… most  developers of software-wallets are centred on Ledger.  Electrum and Yoroi are the best I could come up with. Hardware wallet relevant to  blockchain.com is geared solely  for that  web service and if I had a choice to select I would choose Ledger.

Is this the same security?  The only reason I am thinking on moving to the blockchain site hardware wallet vs ledger live is on ledger live they don't show your value on your erc tokens like PAX or Teather and blockchain.com does.

Where would you store you assets for safety?

Yes, it is. remember what you meant was about blockchain lockbox and it's also created with the help from the ledger to give a check to such hardware that created by blockchain.com and it seems like a cooperation product. I believe blockchain.com is using ledger as a partnership to create lockbox wallet and that means both will have the same security.
I personally use trezor for a few years and I never encountered any problem from my trezor wallet. You can try to consider trezor as your option too.
It seems good to check it directly and see what features already offered by trezor but for me trezor is much more secure than ledger.

I have looked at a few places on this topic and I came to this conclusion:
1.Blockchain lockbox only works on blockchain.com
-Ledger Live works almost anywhere.

2.Blockcahin lockbox only supports: BTC, BCH, ETH and XLM.
-In this link you can find out which cryptos Ledger Live supports: https://shop.ledger.com/pages/supported-crypto-assets

As you can see, Ledger is more useful.

i like blockchains idea and wallet, but its hard to say
Ledger is established, they have been making wallets for YEARS, so one would think they have more of the kinks worked out
It would suck to end up the guinea pig for a new products growing pains (blockchains wallet), Crypto is so unforgiving with money mistakes : /

The safety of my assets is always on top of my priority list. That's why Ledger hardware wallet has always been my preferred Choice. Like you, I sometimes miss the functionality of seeing the value of my holdings right from the wallet. But since my assets are secured, I'm good. I can always check them individually or I use a portfolio tracker. Gets the problem solved without compromising my assets security.

The priority here should be security, which is why hardware wallet is chosen by most. Other things, such as the display of the accurate price of your coins, is secondary.
This type of wallet will be my choice any day, any time. Although ledger wallet should also be able to perform this functionality. Thy is my thought though, as I have never used it before.

You are talking about blockchain lockbox right,AFAIK it only supports four crypto currencies and only can be used with blockchain.com web wallet which is good option for someone who is looking for a cost effective hardware wallet but its not highly secure like Ledger Hardware wallet.
