There have been many similar cases where transactions do not appear either in the explorer or in the wallet, I will quote some responses to those transactions.

>> blockchain.info wallet not showing my balance

I guess their node is down... They show blocks up untill height 456544, while my node tells me the latest block has height 456561.
If their node is down, it's normal that your balance didn't decrease, since they don't have the block including your transaction... It might even be that they do not broadcast tx's... don't know how their setup is.

I think the same problem happened to you.

>> transaction not showing on blockchain.info (Block Explorer)

It was dropped by them and had a chain of another 2 transactions that were dropped as well. I pushed all three transactions back, you can now see it on blockchain.info as well.
Try blockcypher as an alternative.

Therefore, waiting, logging out, deleting cookies solves a lot of problems, but it's best to avoid using Wallet and Explorer.

Before locking this topic - just wanted to mention - Blockchain.com looked at this thread (we sent them a link) - they said the following FYI:

In the Bitcoin Talk thread you linked to, I see that one commenter mentioned that the Blockchain Wallet is not open source. Please note, this is incorrect. The Blockchain Wallet is open source and can be found on github here: https://github.com/blockchain

Thanks!

Blockchain.com is always buggy, the interface itself sometimes is not showing that's why your transaction seemed not to show up on an instant. Glad that your problem has been resolved now.

You should lock the topic now.

Bitcoin = Financial freedom
Thanks!

And to those who haven't read post #5 - the issue was already resolved.

Glad you are not in the problem but understand the risks of using hot wallet, I did face the same situation a year back and then I found that these kind of bugs are just normal in blockchain.com wallet formerly.info

If you are using blockchain wallet for convenience then you can try electrum which also has android app which is more secure than using a web wallet.

Is there a simple guide how to do what you mentioned?
Assuming you have the seeds of your blockchain wallet.

It's really easy like you restore a wallet with Electrum. The difference is after entering the seed you need to click the options button and check BIP39 seed.

Then just press next next next etc until you see your wallet window.

Let me know if this helps.

And good to know that the balance are showing up now. Although it was never suppose to be a problem if you had the seeds of course.

Thanks!

It's now showing! Phew.
As for why it took so long? It's possible that bitcoin.com may not show the transaction until it gets 6+ confirmations? Huh When I first checked, it only had 4... now it has 13+.

No, they don't have a minimum confirmation once the bitcoin send to this wallet even 0 confirmation it should show in transaction history.

I have old experienced in blockchain wallet before and not receiving bitcoin even I sent bitcoin in the right bitcoin address with many confirmations. I just contacted the support to fix the issue and after they told me they will refresh the account after a day the issue fixed.

He should read this from blockchain
- I was expecting to receive funds but have not received them yet
- I can't find funds that were sent to my wallet!

If your problem still persists contact the blockchain support

or another possibility is that the address that is being displayed to you is NOT part of your wallet and has been modified by malware to display a hackers address.
This option is impossible, we're using the official Blockchain.com website - this is an address provided by them. No hackers involved.
If you have managed to get "evil" browser extensions or tampermonkey scripts installed... it is completely possible that one of those could modify the address being displayed on the "official" website. This is not only theoretically possible, I have seen examples of scripts that do such things in circulation. There was one posted to this board in the last few days that did something similar to users on LocalBitcoin.com. In any case, like I said, it wasn't "likely".

There is nothing "official" about blockchain.info.  They are just a company that created a website named after part of the Bitcoin protocol.  Their business provides a block explorer webpage that allows you to see information about their copy of the blockchain and the transactions that they have seen.  They also provide a wallet service.  Both their wallet service and their blockchain explorer are known to have various issues at times.  The community has no control over what updates blockchain.info chooses to deploy on their website and/or how well those updates are tested.

- this is an address provided by them. No hackers involved.

It's always possible that malware on YOUR computer could modify what is shown to you in a web browser, even if you are looking at blockchain.info's web page.  In this case it seems that it was just bugs in blockchain.info's software, but you seemed overconfident prior to knowing that.

Is this normal not to see the balance updated yet?!

At blockchain.info?  Any odd behavior is "normal".  They typically fix issues eventually, but new issues pop up all the time.

Anyway, I think it does not matter. If you have the seeds then you can restore the wallet using Electrum and you should see the balance there.

Either their wallet system is having some issues and simply hasn't updated your transaction history and balance correctly as yet... or another possibility is that the address that is being displayed to you is NOT part of your wallet and has been modified by malware to display a hackers address.

I'd guess there is just an issue with their wallet system. The malware option is probably fairly unlikely Tongue

Give it another 15-30 minutes and see if it updates.

Why Blockchain.com is not showing the 0.0795 BTC transaction?!

The block explorer is showing the tx but you are saying in the wallet you are not seeing the reflation. Is this some kind of refund or something?

Anyway, I think it does not matter. If you have the seeds then you can restore the wallet using Electrum and you should see the balance there. I really do not trust and understand these hot wallets.

In Blockchain.com it shows to use this address to request Bitcoin:

19G8zHcdSzyz1WjR8MTMBzENRRE9YrKUSP

0.0795 BTC was sent there and already confirmed:

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/0238eecddfc16678734d72aa5b03c619fbb0425ea9273e630e5da2856929c69f

But in the Blockchain wallet it's not showing up! It shows the latest transaction is from several hours ago!

Is this normal?!

Why Blockchain.com is not showing the 0.0795 BTC transaction?!
