AFAIK, the biggest different with old one and the new one is that the previous one let users take back up of their private keys, which isn't the case with the new one or at-least it is not that easy, there is a tutorial here somewhere on how to find out the keys but it is complicated.

Why not give desktop wallet such as Electrum a try, once you get use to it, you won't ever feel the need to use a web wallet again.

I agree with bitbaby, why people here still use blockchain wallet since they removed from bitcoin.org Undecided
as long this service still legit and didn't make me losing my money, why not, and they'd improved their security,so,better,i feel so comfortably with the online wallet and still don't want to try electrum wallet due to the horrible GUI,just my opinion,if there's some desktop wallet which have good GUI, would give it a try

New wallet can not be sign message, someone can help me ?

The sign message features are not implemented in the beat version which is a disadvantage, better continue with the old wallet if you want to sign messages or import the address in another SPV like electrum and sign a message from there.

Will it be implemented. I think this is a very important feature and it should be implemented soon so we can ues the wallet at the fullest.
With signing messages etc.
Ok thank you very much for information, i will use old wallet. I hope it will be implementasi soon

I saw that new version thing, but I didn't change, didn't know the difference between the old and new version, but looking the posts here now, better to stay with the same old good version... It's working fine anyway, no reason to change it for nothing.

No wonder people prefer legacy version. They are accustomed to it better. And new wallet seems to be mainly visual improvement.
I have no idea what changed from the technical point of view. Despite fact that it is loading slower for me.

so far I found people prefer the legacy version , I upgraded to the new version cause I don't keep big amounts in the online wallet
but I saw somewhere that there will be a point when all the members will be forced to upgrade their wallets but I don't know why
but as I said so far it seems the legacy one is way better , the upcoming updates may make the new one good but not today

if you have any balance there, then do not upgrade to the new wallet, i have not done it myself but i have been hearing a lot of complains about the new new wallet on blockchain.info from the beginning.

it is better to create a new wallet and upgrade that one instead

I try not to put too much coins in the online wallets as there are too many cases of compromise or hacks. However, I am still using blockchain.info wallet as it is indeed one of the best so far.

keep the old one. the new still doesn't have the sign message feature plus some people are complaining that they got different address when they imported their private keys to other wallet.
I would've urged you to switch to other wallet but judging from your post before this thread I guess it won't happen.  Tongue

I'm not a big fan of the new one, since it is more confusing for me, and although it looks prettier, it lacks some functionality like message signing. You also can't downgrade, so if you decide you don't like it, you need to export your keys and make a new wallet on the old version. I suggest you make an account for the new one, see if you like the GUI and then decide.
