Same poor issues again... several tickets opened for months, and the CEO contacted. Let's see if we can get some traction on this!

On certain occasions yes, we use it for withdrawal - but not all the time.

Will be checking out your link shortly.

Does anyone work for BlockChain.info on this forum?

I'm literally getting nowhere with Support.

FYI - Here's what's listed on their website regarding their API "instant" must mean something else other than the english definition.

https://blockchain.info/api/api_receive

“You provide a bitcoin address we generate unique addresses that forwards payments to that address instantly notifying a callback URL.”

U r correct. This is a big problem now. The dangerous thing is that sometimes the callback does not take place at all !!! This is concerning.

I thought of a solution... written here => https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/any-php-script-that-would-do-this-695682 ...But it has not yet reached the ultimate goal.

By the way, r u using blockchain.info send API for withdrawal ?

Blockchain.info API service is free so actually you're getting what you pay for. A good alterntive is blockr API at http://btc.blockr.io/documentation/api

or, you can use bitcoin API and build your own bitcoind server

This is a problem with blockchain.info receive API which requires address generation and forwarding. AFAIK blockr.io does not support it.

Agreed  - and trust me on 2 things...

1. I'd willingly pay for a working service, it's far more secure to NOT run bitcoind locally on our servers - this 3rd party approach is ideal in our industry.
and
2. API users are clearly getting nothing in terms of support from one of the leaders in the Bitcoin industry so yea, we are getting nothing for paying nothing, but it's really kind of pathetic to open a ticket every few days just to have it closed saying "API is getting DDOS'ed". Why doesn't BlockChain.info just say they aren't supporting their API?

That said, I'll check out blockr.io!

Bumping this - has anyone else experienced similar issues?

Further - are there alternatives out there?

Hi Folks - We really never get far with getting resolution through the help desk, but wanted to see if other API users are running into same issue as us.

When we receive transactions using addresses we created through the BlockChain.info API - they are getting forwarded to the correct main address right away (instantly); however we are seeing the callback URI/URL not being invoked until some time afterwards - upwards of 30 minutes. Clearly for any merchant that's doing business with Bitcoin and expects real-time transacations and posts, this is an issue.

Would love to see if we can get some better help on the API - it's always been an afterthought for BlockChain.info in our opinion. Also - if anyone has recommendations on other 3rd parties that offer an API (paid or free), we're all ears.
