In 2018 central banks will hold cryptocurrency, alongside gold and foreign currencies, according to the CEO of Blockchain.info, Peter Smith.

How will this trend impact the business corporation between countries?

Looking forward to hearing different opinions.

I don't understand how this is going to help the crypto community. I mean if central banks are going to hold the crypto like that then wouldn't they will be loosing their so called decentralise nature of work? This will disturb it for sure as there will more hard regulation on how much you hold and from where it's coming principle. This is good for the central banks because they are going to enjoy the fees of transfer from blockchain to bank and vice versa. But we people will be charged a lot more. This is ain't good when I think it fully from the crypto lover side. Just imagine your coin getting captured for taxes everytime you move it.

This news is not surprising, many of the Russian banks, including Sberbank (the largest bank in Russia) have already actively invested money in crypto-currencies in the past few years.

Is this the confirmed news from the central banks side, since due to huge volatility their reserves in few mins may go up or down very quickly . First the futures got listed and now if it happens it will be a very big news .

Though at present market is falling without taking this news into consideration .
