for example Statoshi shows mempool at 85k unconfirmed transactions and 110 MiB (116 MB) size but they are rejecting low fee transactions
http://statoshi.info/dashboard/db/memory-pool
This is weird
In their case the difference is about 90k transactions but a whooping 1.9 GB.
BlackchaiR shows 142k tx but their lowest satoshi/KB is 435.
So the entire wave that is hitting blockchain info mempool is made of low fee transactions but with an average of 22kb (making them at around 100 outputs?)
Now, what would be the purpose of this wave of spam?
It makes no sense as they are not going to affect the fee, the fastest one is still at around 20$ (I don't trust data from bitcoinfees.earn.com, I use estimatefee.com)
It's too damn big forcing a lot of people to start rejecting low fee tx from the start so it is going to backfire ....
I guess it is time to say goodbye to blockchain numbers also...
