Blockchain.info can't hold your coins if you export your keys out you can import them into any client and send funds from their, blockchain site was having problems yesterday but I had the keys exported and I just imported them into electrum and pushed my transaction.

Ahh!!! Thank God. If this issue goes continue , May be i am gonna stop using blockchain .

Have you experienced any problems like this using their wallet as an end user (apart from the api)?

To be fair, they did respond to my support request, and I got the bitcoin a day later.

However, their free API was having problems for several hours yesterday, and then there is this strange behavior.

Granted, the API is free, but it's more hassle than it's worth.  I don't think I'll be using them anymore.

Ahh, very good to know, as Blockchain historically has never shown themselves to be dishonourable.

it finally got sent.  for some reason their forwarder waits on some 1 satoshi transactions that never got confirmed before it would relay the larger transactions.
