The link i posted should still take you to the old login page but when you login it redirects you to the new wallet.
Regarding signing a message i know 100% that this can be done because I just did it about an hour ago now.
It not easy to find and i think was only added as an update on 2/5/16 , once found its just as easy to sign a message as the old legacy wallet was.
Cant remember exactly but if you follow this you will work it out.
Go to "addresses" on the left of the page then select "manage addresses" select the address you want to sign a click on "more options" to the right of the address, then just sign the message you want in the box that appears.
That option is only available for imported addresses. Your address from legacy are imported to the new wallet (you can see that they're in "Imported addresses" account) so you're able to sign with them. But there's no such option for the newly generated addresses (I tried).
Anyway, OP. It doesn't look like you have any choice if you want to use your wallet again.
Did they fully remove the Legacy login from the website ?
Looks like it. IIRC users get a message when they tried to log in to the new wallet while still using legacy wallet. Now my legacy wallet just got upgraded right after I click login.
I didn't login since they upgraded to the new wallet (didn't login in both wallets) , If I login I will get upgraded automatically ?
Looks like it has completely gone, even when logging in from the old legacy wallet log in page:
https://blockchain.info/wallet-legacy/login.
I only just found this out myself about 30min ago when i had to sign a message, took me a few minutes to work out how to sign a message with the new wallet but the option is still there.
If I use the login page you posted , I will get the new or still logged in the old ? I didn't understand ... as for the new wallet ,are you sure you still can sign a message ? because I see people who couldn't .

I didn't upgrade so I didn't check yet but according to this post :
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.15904839 It's impossible to sign messages using new generated addresses ( you can only sign using the old addresses from Legacy wallet If I got him right) .
So what have you tried ? signing an old or new address ? or both ?
It was an old address from the legacy wallet that i was signing, i have not tried with any addresses created within the new wallet so it looks like steven0021 maybe right in his post above.
I will log on again now and check about signing new addresses.
Alright , thanks for your help guys , I really appreciate it .
It's dumb from their part though , I mean they have a commertial ad where they say "Be your own" back , how I can be my own back If I don't control the private keys and sign messages ? It make no sense at all, I thought It's because it's an HD wallet but It seems like It's not as Multibit HD have this as well but they do allow their users to sign and verify messages.
