Problem was my balance was not showing actual balance.. But i checked balance on block explorer and sent what I should have anyway on blockchain.info to my mycelium wallet and it transferred just fine

I'm now switching to mycelium

You can still use BC.i , they have had several outages in the last 18 months or so but always return fully working & true to their customers.

Don't leave your full bitcoin holdings in there though, it's never safe to leave everything in one place.

I've been paid twice today and after wallet service came back up my wallet is showing a negative balance.. I can see both green transactions in the app but the balance is not reflecting this.. Very disappointing

I use their wallet as well it tends to be reliable most of the time
(Sometimes it has updates but that balance is more less secure its just a pain to use that said you do have the wallet dat from day one so can just use that lol)

Blockchain.info is up and working. I've been using them for nearly 3 years. I know this service isn't perfect, but an online wallet is sure convenient. I'll keep on using them in the future. I change my laptop at least once a year, and I have 2 other desktop computers and a tablet, everything is much easier with blockchain.info.

Hopefully it stays down. A brand that takes over an aspect of bitcoin is a problem, especially when that brand is using outdated and vulnerable technology.

Well I think that is why they are undermaintenance by now, they are upgrading their technology.

BTW guys, anybody knows until when is this maintenace will take?

As far as I can tell it's down 12 hours now, never have I seen it down this long. If I had coins in a wallet there I'd be freaking out, very lucky I don't cause I usually do. https://twitter.com/blockchain/status/658629493280612352

This is nothing new, it's gone down before now. Any online wallet should be online all the time if it wants to keep its customers. I don't use it anymore because I want something that always works. It should have a backup server that takes over when the main one goes down like all professional websites.

People need to stop assuming the worst when something like this happens. Even if it was an attack, it is only temporary (as always). Please move your thread to the appropriate section.

You can still use BC.i pretty safely as long as you have the private key written down or printed out somewhere. BC.i don't control anybodies private keys so you can still move your coins if they are down.

I don't think they are attacked or something like that. They are undergoing "maintenance" and you can see updates at: https://mobile.twitter.com/blockchain. If you see their tweets, then I think that they got everything under control so no worries for now.

I guess that blockchain.info continues to wreck nerves of their customers like they know to do best. I admire the people that still have nerves for this crap and continue using them!

I recall twitching with nerves every time I popped my wallet with them open in case it had all gone. In that case that was down to worries about my own security slackness. Sounds like they're meticulous at making customers whole if it's their own fault. It has some very cool features but I'd rather shop elsewhere these days.

No, apparently blockchain.info services are under maintenance. This has nothing to do with Bitcoin core and the network. All other wallets are working. This is blockchain.info internal problem.
