Still working fine for me at least a few times per day.

I've recently started using blockchain.  I don't understand what blockchain is though, is it a private entity?  How can they have the block explorer on there but also offer free wallets to everyone?

blockchain.info currently has some ad revenue and maybe affiliate programs. Also, I think they have premium services in the future, or other plans for more income.

If I recall correctly blockchain.info even has some spare cash now and are buying other companies
So I do expect that there will be premium services in the future
Overall it is still very reliable for a webwallet and the only one that hasn't stolen a large amount that's been around for a long time Smiley

If you are using it as an blockchain explorer, you can use https://blockr.io/, https://blockexplorer.com/ and https://www.biteasy.com/ as alternative.

If you are using the wallet service, you should make backups and so you could import your private keys to a SPV client when you need to.

I've had a blockchain account for a while (have it open right now) the only problem I've had is that it signs me out to dang often, and sometimes when refreshing my account it takes a long time.

Are you sure you aren't making too many requests to the server? Since they use cloudflare I'm sure it would be good to respect that.

This is the land of wolves now & you're not a wolf
At the end of the day, I don't think that there is a more reliable, transparent web wallet company.   Also, they provide their services to everyone free of charge.

That's unusual I have only counted it being down a handful of times
That said if you use an ATM machine linked to its prices then it would be annoying to see it down

Just use blockr.io as someone suggested.. but don't use it a lot  Grin otherwise it will also become like blockchain.info.

They have worked 100% for me since the issues a couple months ago were fixed.
Light usage, but I consider them fast and dependable lately.

Decentralized thinking
it's always frikin down and it shows cloudflare saying it can't connect to their host.

Sad Sad

Blockchain is always a target for ddos attacks and this isn't going to change for sometime, you can always stop using their services and download a wallet.

Just use blockr.io. Much better for looking stuff up and like that. Unless you are doing something else?

Cloudfare is used for DDos protection.  The reason they use it is to make their service more reliable.

Are you using them too much ? They have some pre-set limit. It is actually up @ my end.
