Probably a late answer. But this message indicates that the project is in testing mode. At sofort you need to put a project in production mode before it accepts customer payments.
Same for me here, Austria.
I'm EU based, but my brother lives in UK and he also get this error message...

What happened to blockchain.info? I've just tried to use sofortbanking but it won't let me complete the transaction,:
