In support section they often take some time. You can go to their facebook page for to get a faster support. One of my friend was having an issue from blockchain wallet and he was worried about them of not getting the response. I asked him to go to their facebook page to to ask if and maybe they will response. He did the same and on that time he got a response from the moderator of that facebook page. I hope you will also get an instant response from that page. Please try to go to their facebook page from their official website. So that you go to the legit site.

Whatever you do, remember this one important fundamental rule of safety: never ever reveal your recovery phrase to anybody. Not even if you are offered an incentive of some kind or any help to recover the coins on your blockchain wallet.

Follow the advice given to you by blockchain's support. If you correctly backed up your wallet with the right sequence and spelling of the 12 words, your coins are recoverable by either doing the procedure explained by blockchain's support or by using an alternative wallet such as Electrum.

You can also use the BRD wallet on an iPhone or android phone. After downloading the app, you will be prompted to either create a new wallet or to recover an existing wallet. The procedure is described here:

https://breadapp.com/support/articles/start-view/

I use this wallet and I can recommend it. Totally secure and stable.

Need some spare btc for a new PC
You still have your funds on that wallet.
If they're not responding, check the bottom of the e-mail if it says that the message was automated (from a bot) so replaying won't get you a reply from them.
If you're not getting any confirmation, it's usually on their end.

However, try opening a new ticked but just those 12 words should be enough.

there is a high chance that you wrote down the recovery phrase wrong.
This can be the case for him. How did you wrote those 12 words? Through clean white paper with a pen or you wrote it by copy and pasting it to your notepad?

If it is for answering or waiting for the blockchain.info's email, they are responsive. My question is how long or how many days you did emailed them?

A day has passed and base on my experience it is not going more than a day before receiving a response from their support / representative.
Im suspecting the same thing which if he didnt able to copy paste those words in a notepad and rather wrote it in a clean paper then chances of errors would be there.Either you missed out some words or  spell it incorrectly. From the given link above by pooya87 it is very helpful to find out the words that might be missing out.Its impossible for you not to recovered or access the wallet if you do have the possession of those phrases.

If you have the walled ID on e-mail signed up with that means you will be able to get the identifier and verifying link that email. That could be helpful for you recover the account bro.
Wallet phrase will be need when the time you are signing in to the wallet via website.

There are bunch of emails on the blockchain.info wallet desk. You need to for a week of time or more time than that.

hi guys. I feel like i am in big trouble. On 16th March i made my blockchain wallet to request a withdrawal from a bookie (i've made my deposit using friend's blockchain). After signing up i've wrote down the 12 words recovery phrases and requested a bitcoin address to give it to the bookies. Everything was fine and I logged out. But i didn't noticed that i am not receiving email from blockchain.info. I still don't have the first email from them with my wallet ID and I am not able to log in. The first option is that i've typed wrong email and the second options is that they are not sending me the email with wallet ID.
I contacted support and got one email from them - they offer me to use my 12 words and back up my wallet.

"If you backed up your wallet via the 12 word recovery phrase, then you can use this to create a new wallet from the same address seed here - https://blockchain.info/wallet/#/recover. If the Continue button is inactive, then the recovery phrase submitted is inaccurate. Please be aware any funds or addresses stored within the Imported Addresses section of the wallet will not be restored, as there were not generated by the address seed."

But i don't understand if I do this will my funds be there. The bookies has sent me already the coins.
And after that email nobody answers my other emails. Does anybody had same problems and what do you think will happen with my balance if I restore it via the 12 word recovery phrase.

It seems that most of you misunderstood what OP is asking. He did not even try to use seed and recover wallet, but has concerns about whether he will recover his balance with given seed.Of course, the answer is yes-that's the whole essence of seed and if it is 100% correct then everything should be recovered including balance/addresses/history etc...

Regarding blockchain.info did not answer e-mails,they answer with one mail and explain all that was needed to explain.Imagine how many e-mails they get every day, explain one and the same thing several times to one user means that someone else has to wait more than necessary.

If you clicked generate new address, then it's a part of the wallet that the recovery phrase will recover.

So the real question is whether the bookie actually sent you the BTC. If they did then as soon as you recover the wallet, you will be able to access the BTC immediately. In fact, you don't even need to use blockchain.info to recover your wallet. You can use electrum as well, I tried it out and it worked.

There is nothing they can do to assist you because there is no way they can verify that you're the real deal speaking to them. Plus they don't know your recovery phrase.

If you were locked out of your wallet anyways, there is no risk whatsoever by recovering it. Even if you had imported addresses, you couldn't have accessed it anyways when you were locked out without a wallet identifier.

if you can't recover your wallet using blockchain.info's recovery page then there is a high chance that you wrote down the recovery phrase wrong. you may have misspelled some word in it! in which case the only option is to check which word you are typing in wrong. check the words against this list: https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/blob/master/bip-0039/english.txt these are the words they used.

if bc.i still doesn't work for you then check out this tool: https://iancoleman.io/bip39/
preferably download the source code from https://github.com/iancoleman/bip39 and run it offline on a clean computer like a live linux CD.
then type in your words in Mnemonic textbox then scroll down to Derivation Path section and choose BIP32 and from Client combobox choose blockchain.info.
now scroll down to Derived Addresses section, you should see all your addresses and their keys here.

blockchain.info(hybrid eWallet) use Javascript in the user's browser to manage private keys and create payments.[1]
So your wallet ID and password give you access to the master seed(your 12 words recovery phrases) which used to send/recive bitcoins.

let’s assume that you have a bank account linked to android app:

  • bank account == your bitcoins.
  • android app == blockchain.info wallet.
  • app username and password == wallet ID and password.
  • 12 words recovery phrases == your Passport.
What happens if you lose access to your android app(same you lost your wallet ID and password )?
you will back into your bank and show them your passport (12 words recovery phrases) to get access to your funds.

Did you see that ludicrous display last night?
But i don't understand if I do this will my funds be there.
In deterministic wallets like blockchain.info, the seed is given instead of private keys.

That means that as long as you have your 12 word recovery phrase, you have access to your coins.  It doesn't matter whether you send them from blockchain.info or from any other compatible wallet.

So you don't have any problem at the moment, but if you ever want to contact their support team you can do it from here.

Actually, It's a common problem in blockchain.info and if you'll browse the threads in this board, you'll find lot's of users who had the same problem.
Problems like this will continue to arise as long as you'll use blockchain.info, better switch to a new wallet like electrum or better yet to a hardware wallet e.g. ledger, trezor.

What the blockchain.info's support says is true, you can restore your wallet using the recovery phrase or the seed.

You can use the link they gave you to recover it but as I stated above, I'm not very fond of their wallet so in this case I'll be recommending electrum

Here's a step-by-step- tutorial: https://bitcoinelectrum.com/restoring-your-standard-wallet-from-seed/ (Don't forget to click OPTIONS-->BIP39 when electrum prompts you to enter your seed)
