Glad this helped you root out that problem.  Any idea why Electrum and Bitcoin-Qt wouldn't accept my private key for this account?  I assume that's unrelated to your blockchain.info database issues...

Were your exporting in plain base 58 format (default)? Electrum & Bitcoin-Qt will only import private keys in "Wallet Import Format" which always begin with 5.

Yes...  Anyway, it is moot now since I already emptied that account.

Is your bitcoind out-of-sync?

I sent 2 transactions to a friend and they are not confirming. Electrum show me 3+ confirmations on both transaction.

Thanks.

EDIT: He's telling me that both transactions show as confirmed but it show as unconfirmed when I use the link. Strange.

EDIT2: Fixed. Thanks!

5. He recieved the coins but could not send coins back because of lack of "free output transactions" or so. I tried to do a $0.0005 fee payment but the same answer occurred.

I need to know the bitcoin address you are try to send from and the amount.

PIUK, sorry to say but... I gave a terrible BAD 1st Impression about Bitcoins use for a friend who made his first transaction.

First to say is... I´m a big user and promoter of Blockchain.info´s wallets and services since long but today it gave a terrible bad impression.

1. We created an online wallet through chrome (OK)
2. We added Google Authenticator (OK)
3. We downloaded the Android App (TERRIBLE vs. IPHNOE) no way to check transaction statusses and looks really different than the excelent Iphone App.
4. He tried to send a payment request from online (or the app dont´remember) and the mail arrived me with {{var_amount}} & {{var_uri}} codes.
5. He recieved the coins but could not send coins back because of lack of "free output transactions" or so. I tried to do a $0.0005 fee payment but the same answer occurred.

Please help or advice...

Could it have something to do with the fact that, in an earlier send from this address, I sent the change back to itself?  But, I've done that before with other addresses with no problem...

No it is due to the database problems on the 8th. When the main database was restore from a backup some transactions got out of sync with their scripts which are stored in a separate database. I did write a tool to repair the mismatched data but looks like not all transactions were repaired properly. I am working on a full fix now.

On the plus side our backup strategy is much improved now (full replication to one onsite and one offsite slave).

In my case, the problem address was 1CrkvauazZGd7cegyYkw2PK4M9MMNmVNek .

Interesting that when you google that address it shows the same invalid block address as when I Google mine.

Please copy and paste the bitcoin address.

In my case, the problem address was 1CrkvauazZGd7cegyYkw2PK4M9MMNmVNek .

It was very frustrating; after giving up on blockchain.info, I tried importing the private key into both Electrum and Bitcoin-Qt 0.8.  Electrum appeared to accept the import, but didn't show the balance.  Bitcoin-Qt reported "Error adding key to wallet (code -4)".

I was finally able to get my coins out by using the StrongCoin offlineTransaction.html page and then doing a sendrawtransaction from Bitcoin-Qt.  But it really shouldn't have been that much trouble.  Most of the clients seem to be unable to cope with this address for some reason.

Could it have something to do with the fact that, in an earlier send from this address, I sent the change back to itself?  But, I've done that before with other addresses with no problem...

Whatever you did fixed my wallet. Thanks! I finally decided to give My Wallet a try the night before the database crash. It's been a bumpy road, but I've been impressed with the support.

Cheers!

Please try again now.

...

That block is at http://blockchain.info/block/0000000000000103673aad34c8073127549c27ccb9e98460d1598c5bdefaa37e.

That link has an invalid block-index where did you get it from?

Google.

Please try again now.

It looks like the block with contained the first funds I sent to that address is missing at blockchain.info.

http://blockchain.info/block-index/355421/0000000000000103673aad34c8073127549c27ccb9e98460d1598c5bdefaa37e

I think that's the source of my missing 0.43277283 BTC. This was <24 hours before the BlockChain database crash.

I'm having a similar problem. It says I'm about .5BTC short of funds which display in my wallet. I opened a support request a few hours ago. Waiting on a response.

Worked fine for me a second ago.

Still not working for me...  Guess I'll have to try a different client...   Sad

Hello, now that the hard fork is stopped, and the 0.7 chain is safely the main branch again, I am trying to send some coins from my blockchain.info wallet, as a test...  But, it gives me an error "Insufficient funds... available amount 0.00 BTC" when I try to send from an account that in fact has sufficient BTC in it.

Does anyone know, was sending from blockchain.info temporarily suspended due to the fork?  (And if so, shouldn't it be reactivated now?)

Fortunately, I have a paper backup of that account, so I can presumably import it into and spend from another client if blockchain.info continues to misbehave... But I just want to know what's going on.

Thanks...
