I didn't chose SMS because I fear that could happen, email works pretty well so far.

Yes i misspoke about them not supporting google authenticator because apparently they do, but they don't give you an alphanumeric "authentication key' in addition to the QR code that you can scan.  I don't like this as much because I often use the Windows "GAuth" program for my codes and it needs the authentication key to work.

I guess I will just switch it to Google Authenticator and will use my tablet and phone and I will save the QR code in an encrypted file in case I lose my tablet and phone (or they break, etc) and need a way to scan it again to get back in.

Huh.

I was just going to suggest that if you needed the money ASAP, you could import the backed-up privkeys somewhere else. I can't help the actual issue though.

Did you back up your wallet?

Yes I back it up and I was just able to get back into it anyway and transferred the BTC out of there.  Then logged out and it wouldn't let me log back in, because of the same issue.

I don't see me losing my BTC permanently like this but I can see not having access to it for 24 hrs, which is not acceptable.

I enabled two factor authentication on my blockchain.info wallet and some drawbacks with using google authenticator so I have them send a text to my cell phone with a short code.

It has worked mostly fine, but it does seem to send the texts when I don't request them sometimes. I think it logs me out due to inactivity and then will send me a new code.

But just now I tried to login and it won't send the code...says:

"Reached daily limit for medium priority sms messages"

How is it just "medium priority" for me to even get into my wallet?

Is there any workaround for this?  It seems absurd.  Thanks.
