This is like power grabbing, power to Tron for able to do this. If blockchain.org could properly developed for Tron instead of redirect it could rank much higher and give much more power to Tron.

I thought it was really stupid. Unfortunately he continues to use his money for this type of marketing. The name blockchain is very strong and probably used a lot. Too bad he bought it to redirect to TRON. Blockchain.com is one of the most well-known sites.

It is still fairly new, based on https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/tron.org#section_traffic

Yes, he has a lot of money so he will going to used it to make more money as he is willing to take that risk. I wonder though why blockchain.org didn't acquire it. Anyhow, Justin has it and are going to take advantage of it, marketing wise. And I'm sure he knows the value of this domain name in crypto space and having that will be a big boost to his TRON project.

So maybe after 90 days we can go back and check the websites stats and see how it grow.

I won't say it's stupid but a clever trick (again?) by Justin, as I have said in the past, Justin is a 'selling God', Lol, the best out there to market his Tron, regardless of which methods he uses and I would say that it is an effective method, borderline black-hat trick, or shall we say in the gray area.

Lucky previous owners of blockchain.org though, I'm sure Justin pay handsomely to get his hands on the domain name because I'm sure he will get a lot of hits to his tronscan.org website and there could be some noobs who will fell for the trap he has set-up.

No God or Kings, only BITCOIN.
Well, it is indeed true then but it will only give some confusion to customers because what they typed was not the one they've wanted it to be, they never wanted to be at tronscan. I think that domain has been forgotten since most know that blockchain.org has been replaced to blockchain.com.

I use to visit the site when I don't know yet they've changed their domain but that's year/s ago so even if this happens right now customers will probably never search for that domain, maybe some will do. I don't think this is a type of hype but that was just a whack imo from Justin.

Tron is know for showbiz and this is one of their latest move. I don't understand why people are surprise why he is making this move. Blockchain.org is different from Blockchain.com/blockchain.com, he just want to create hype around his new acquisition. I think he is going to fail with this just like Steem acquisition

Although it looks weird, but I think it is a good move I will say, or rather a wise move. You see, one of the things that builds a platform or makes a platform to grow is the number of users and their activeness, now by redirecting users or visitors from blockchain to Tron, thereby by so doing, users who knows about blockchain (since it is a prominent name) and might not know or have not been giving much attention to Tron might use that opportunity to know about Tron and so on. The idea is, no matter the number of users that gets redirected, there will still be some that will take time to know more about Tron and probably investing.
Hence, I see this as a very good marketing/advertising strategy to attract users to Tron.
Yeah, it neither be effective or not but doing this move isnt bad either and as mentioned people do gets redirected and blockchain is indeed a prominent name which can be commonly
searched on and if the time they had surfed out and find this one then that might really poke out the interest of people but still getting support towards TRON project will depend
or vary on someones decision if he got interested or just proceed into thing on what he've been looking for.

Cheap move but this is probably not as bad as the bitcoin.com who has been misleading people into buying BCH instead of BTC. They put BCH before BTC with the color and the direction in which the BTC is tilted as the main difference. Any newbie would probably not be able to distinguish which one is the real BTC.

+1 on this one which is actually true.Redirection isnt something that can be considered anytime to be deceptive when it leads to other sort of things on just like what
happened on Bitcoin.com.

Am watching Tron and project listed on the blockchain in this market, so far this year there is still nothing to brag on for tron. Not for Defi and its blockchain. Sincerely, the transaction that involve its coin are fast and cheap but it project marketing is poor, people can rarely point to Defi on tron even though there are some. IMO its a bad trend that should not continue and he might stop relying in the connection of friend in the space and do something for himself

It is not the original site and therefore it can redirect it to any other site. It seems that there is cooperation between the owner of the site and that site, or he has purchased it.
Do not trust web wallets, so do not use Blockchain.com or any domain similar to it.

Everything is business, anyhow people know the difference between blockchain and tron. This won't easily mislead same as the BTC to BCH. However when one does something to promote the network, it need to benefit mutually. The blockchain is common, but now the same is carried by tron could also create some close connection with tron than other cryptocurrencies.

Hehe so he bought the domain that's been existing since 2011. The previous owner sold it at a good price for sure.
