I use Chrome for work and Brave for my own stuff. It's quicker, they fixed the UI (finally) and it's just a very nice experience. Highly recommended for everyone who hasn't used it yet.

That's really a good move from a browser adopting the blockchain technology. Myself as an user of brave experience good usage access. Any reputed firm getting into the cryptospace is not a simple thing. Now brave has done a good effort with the blockchain technology serving as the base to the entire list of dApps. I haven't experimented the reward system. Will try soon.

This is just another way of hyping the project, since when has bat been in existing which I have some basic attention token in my Binance and it has not grown a bit, if the figure coated by you was not manipulated just to give it unnecessary hype, we ought to have noticed some changes at least in the token price which was still quite the same with the price I bought for some months now.

Chrome has been in existence for long and waxing stronger which I believe will be impossible for this browser to take over no matter their technology.

Brave is a good example for blockchain product that has real use, privacy web browser is not but new but Brave is the first in the crypto space. I’m happy for what they have achieved so far, that they can also help mass adoption and make crypto more popular.

Wow, do you mean this app has already gotten up to 20 million votes and I have never heard of it, I really need to upgrade my knowledge about what is going on in the crypto space.

I have been searching for a browser were one can get reward by just surfing the web, this is the evolution I have been talking about whereby anyone making use of the internet don't just end up spending a lot of money without having ways to gain them back, imagine a world where you receive reward for visiting every single website in existence.

"Blockchain’s Killer App", what a sensationalist title...

Brave, and its crypto reward system could pose a threat to traditional web browsers like Chrome.
Hmm, not really. Unlike Chrome, Brave doesn't come as the default browser in most dektops/laptops meaning that Chrome still has a big advantage in terms of exposure to new public. Also, according to the website 'gs.statcounter.com', Chrome is the most used web browser in the world [1] with a 62% market share, with the closest competitor being Safari with just 15%. So, according to those numbers, I'd say Brave could be competing with Opera and maybe Firefox.

Also, the article in the OP mentions BAT, but let's be honest, the majority of those 20 million users probably don't even care about BAT, they most likely fell for that single yet powerful word that grabs your attention and makes you want to try and download this browser...that word is "AdBlocker".

The Brave internet browser, which rewards users with cryptocurrency, has clocked up phenomenal growth. According to AppBrain, the Android app has now been downloaded 20 million times.

Brave aims to “fix the internet” by blocking ads and refusing to track user activity and location. The platform rewards users and content creators with a native cryptocurrency, Basic Attention Token (BAT).

The growth comes amid growing backlash towards Google’s invasive privacy policies. Brave, and its crypto reward system could pose a threat to traditional web browsers like Chrome.
20 Million Downloads: The Revolution is Coming

Could Brave be the “killer app” the cryptocurrency industry has longed for? The 20 million figure marks significant adoption for a blockchain product. It puts the app in the top 1% of all Android downloads.
