blogs and forums are not very important features for me, whether or not these features exist i still enjoy playing on these gambling platforms without any problems. because the most important thing for me is how the service the platform provides to gamblers, how gamblers can make withdrawals/deposits easily and quickly, and how the game has no problems, that's what i think is the most important. however, if the gambling platform has these two features, it is much better.

Not really because I consider to check the other features such as instant deposit and withdrawal, not too strict KYC, not too high deposits and withdrawals amount and else. I don't thinks too much about a casino that have a blog features on their casino because that's not necessary. We can search for the other blogs that have a casino or gambling article on the internet so that doesn't matter for me. Maybe other people will considers these features when assessing and selecting the casinos to join because they feels that's important to have a blog so they can check on their new article. That depends on the requirements that gamblers needs so we will have different things to selects the casino. Besides that, maybe not many casinos have blogs or forums.

There are online casinos that have a blog where their clients or potential clients can turn, to read gambling related articles without leaving the website. There are also online casino websites that have its own forum for their clients like a community interaction.

In addition, there are the ones that do not have any of these features. While  some of us may just want to sign up and start playing immediately, it is not so for others. Do you by chance consider these features when assessing and selecting which casinos to join and play on?

Those are their promotional strategies to gain a good catch with potential customers who probably play with their site. Same with physical casinos they're having a lots of offers and freebies to gain more potential players.
Indeed more people will desire to play immediately, but they should keep in mind to control themselves because one day all those huge winning was just a bunos offer.
Nobody in a business gives their profit, they made sure that their pockets will be fruitful of money as to their advantage as well as the good standing of the company's roi. They will make good use of the tools to make their gambling returns 100% gains instead of loss.

Most of the things that we avoid is that while making an account or after entering the account, there are certain conditions or rules that we must read but at that time we just ignore them. If it says that you have read the terms and conditions then we just tick it and go to the next step. But it is very important for everyone to read these topics. We already waste a lot of time so when this important time comes if we don't read such conditions just to save time and go to the next round then if there is any related problem later on but we can't blame any casino company because they have already done this before signing up. We must read all the conditions that a casino company offers and read all the conditions that the conditions of the casino site are acceptable to us.

In my case, I view it as a bonus instead of a necessity that could discourage me from using their casinos. I still appreciate reading those blog posts whenever they provide enough visibility because they could act as a guide based on what you're looking for and most of the ones i've read only take a few minutes of your time.

Other casinos might even include promotions through their blog page to encourage users to check them out frequently.

For me, it's a plus if a platform has such a feature but I don't specifically look for casinos that have a forum or a blog where I can read material and stuff because I know I can do that somewhere else if I want to and I only use platforms that I know are trusted and can provide the best gambling experience overall like the games provided, customer service, deposit and withdrawal processes, and some other things that a gambler looks for before joining a platform.

I know that a lot of people do see such things as well because I often see people interacting with each other in chats that are available on a platform but I barely do that because when it's time for gambling, I only gamble because I tend to spend a limited time in a casino and avoid overspending both time and money.

These features are actually an advanced marketing technique for casinos that have been operating for a long time, have a good reputation and have many customers.
New casinos that dont have many players do not need features like that, instead they need to be active in public forums and try to get their platforms reviewed by famous bloggers.
Advanced? Hmm but I think they are like the other features but as they say "the more the merrier". So if were to the casinos, I will have them in order for my business to gain lots of customers. Not only the old and casino's that has other qualities you mentioned there has the rights to include it but all of them or including the newer ones can.

Apart from having an own forum and a blog site, a casino may need to be active on both platforms as well, as it can help them get the exposure that they want or they can just pay the people to do it for them if they have an extra budget. As a player, I already tried both types of casinos but currently I'm playing on a non-social based one because they are from my local.

Different users require different needs and if a casino has this section of a blog means they want their users to know what is on their mind .

Is it something we would say is necessary? well if you only interested in gambling it will be considered irrelevant but for someone that is interested in free insights of how to gamble, or not wanting to miss out on new promotions and the alike, then blogs are a must.

Having a community of gamblers is not a bad idea. We already have one here in Bitcointalk forum where members talk about their gambling experiences and the challenges they are facing in their gambling journey and this has really been helpful to many. While some may think it is a waste and not needed to be a feature in an online casino website, this feature may be of help to many others who see it's value.
Valid point but unfortunately not everything can be discussed on the forum as it won't get the needed audience or help it needs and will be be more relevant there...

I think that the point of these forums and blogs sections is to push the visitor to spend more time on the online casino instead of finishing your games and leaving you can head to the other sections and maybe interact with other fellow gamblers to exchange about a particular game or any other subject. This process might push you to go back to gambling and spend more money.

I think people who are more dedicated to the gambling world might prefer the casinos which have these features more than the ones who don't because they are so invested in that environment. But I personally don't see any difference between these two I wouldn't mind gambling in both.

We already have Bitcointalk forum that is more reliable than the built in forum of the casino since Bitcointalk doesn’t censored post especially if the content is against the casino.

You will never saw a scam accusation thread on casino built-in forum since the admin there will obviously delete any negative post toward their casino. Our forum is so far the best place to discuss freely both positive and negative feedback against the casino so I don’t consider the forum feature when playing on the casino because it’s redundant on what we have here.

Not much of an interest though but I guess I've seen it on some of simple casinos I found online, it basically a way for its players to spend enough time on their platforms and potentially pushing more traffic for their site. Not all casino consider adding such community to their sites as some Gamblers might not be interested in visiting such community expect for times when they encounter problems and might need possible solutions from other users. For me, I don really have anything todo with communities during my gambling activities. I don't consider them useful to me.

I haven't really bothered with most features in casinos; I'm all in for the bare minimum when it comes to gambling. I just want to hop on, play, and be done with it. Although I believe that any extras, such as blogs, articles, forum additions, or a global live chat, are nice additions that create a positive community feeling and approach, they aren't a priority of mine. I already have this forum as a means of socializing and communicating for gambling purposes, and I don't need another one to spend even more time on. I'm perfectly satisfied with just the gambling part of the casino.

No, I don't consider it and in terms of poker they are not usually the best. 2plus2 is much better than the Pokerstars forum, for example. I imagine that the houses do it to cover the social component but if you want to look for the best information you better do it outside the house.
A honest review sites are always better than to relay on the information that is created within the site, there can be conflict of interest and they might be filtering the information that will be published on their forum. If you want to dig deeper and know more about information, external post and blogs are always the best, though it's always better to have more sources than to relay on one site alone, by doing this you can have your confidence on choosing the best site to gamble.

I think this feature is a good addition to any online casino. Just like here in forum, if forums or a community are established, then the casino will most likely be lively and will eventually be interactive, which will be beneficial to the casino because people will spend more time on the website because there's a community, which will be great for both the casino and its customers. It can also be a ground where anyone could share their experience, strategy, and hacks in any game. I do hope that it will be implemented in many website casinos right now.
I once had a community on a certain casino website, and it was fun and interesting because we could meet a lot of gamblers that you could share about or you could play against them and make a bond or friendship, but do keep in mind that it can also have a disadvantage.

Not at all, I do not select my gambling sites based on those features, I do not even need them, because I've witnessed so many companies offering them as extras, but they are always deleting the true posts of people that are not aligning with their support, which is bad. However, if it is fair for all parties, it is good, just as post are not deleted here simply because it is directed against someone's or company's persons, for fairness's sake. If an extra feature like that can be adhered to in such regards, then it is fine. But notwithstanding, my core purpose for opening a gambling account with any casino and/or sportsbook is to gamble, that is my priority and will remain so ever.

If they can serve me right and not cheat me in any way, I do not know the reason why a means of communication or some extras that are not gambling-related will now be a misplaced priority for the core value of gambling itself. If I need that, there are hundreds of sites and platforms to get that, so I do not prioritise that as a benefit but just an additional way to send traffic to the forum of the gambling site.

And for those who feel online gambling does not meet to their needs in terms of socialization, this is just the solution to what they've been yearning. As long as no casino platform is going to compel everyone to join the gambling community, then the forum and blog feature should be allowed to stay for those who need it.

I agree with what most posters said, it's not a priority for us, although good addition, but not a must for casinos. And I think 90% of crypto based casinos have at one time have signature campaigns here or have created a Ann thread.

But forum has advantage and disadvantage though, separate from this community. Gamblers can talk freely although they could also be moderated by the casino. And if we are going to rank which features we wanted to see in a casinos, sad to say but this could be in last in our list.

would be great if they also have AI to help us get the latest information in summarized manner not reading some really long article just to get information.
i always find AI summarization to help a lot turning few paragraphs long article into just few line of texts.
I think some companies aren't really seeing potentail of the AI into their product but I believe that its the way of the future.
i mean they are willing to write an article might as well implement the capability of AI to it so that we won't waste too much time analyzing and making researches.

Do you by chance consider these features when assessing and selecting which casinos to join and play on?

For me not in any cases. I would rather chose the casino that is generous of giving rewards than one who have the blogsite. For me it's just their marketing gimmick to lead people and tell that the casino is more verified than the rest because it has blog. Yes that would be a good help to provide interaction between gamblers but it's unnecessary since it won't make you money either.
why not both, i mean there's no reason why a platform can only have one, you can have both and the customers will be happy, you get the gist of it.

I haven't checked or included that for my consideration it is the least of the priorities I'm looking for in a casino to play like all gamblers reputation ranks high on gamblers' criteria, reputation is everything in a casino if they include all the best features, and added a forum and a blog, they will just ignore all of these if they see the casino not addressing the most important concern and that is bad reports.

Casinos are notorious for restriction when it comes to their territory if you are posting bad about the platform they will ban you in their forum, it's better to be active in an open forum where you can post all your concerns and opinions.

Most of us do not consider them before signing up and playing in the casino but they are very good features to have in casino companies because it will bring gamblers together in one place to discuss how things work out in the casino and the particular game. So if those casinos that do not have those features can add them up, it is not a bad idea. Because it will make interaction much more easier. And it will also make easier way to interact with the support chat team without delay again because they would be in the chat group.

Not that much when it comes to these forums or any other websites that they do have about community interaction and other feedbacks but it is really that something that will really be not bad on having.
If you are someone whose really that loving on making some research before making deposits on sites then it would really be something useful with your research because you could be able to read up those different feedbacks and other insights with the community but for me then this forum itself would really be enough for you to search for feedbacks but not all would really be that be able to search up this forum
and ends up on getting into those dedicated forum.

For me then it wont really be something that necessary or something that will really be needed for you to choose up a site. You could always look for feedbacks
on which this is something that should really be enough.

Unless you are a gambler who cares about community involvement, most gamblers are interested in just coming online and playing their favorite games. They are not too concerned with being in a forum with other gamblers on the same platform or reading news from the casino blogs.
These additional features added by some casinos are mainly to make a casino more customer friendly, and to make gamblers spend longer time on their platform, and always see reasons to come back.
Try reading your what you have said again, does it make any sense to you? Who else will visit a casino site if the person is not a gambler or you want to tell me that some persons just mistakenly jump into a casino website by mistake.

Let me put it this way, the world is changing and most online platforms in the different areas like gambling, health, luxury to mention a few are not just concerned about providing their service to people only. They now understand the power of community building. I don't want to say it's the new trend because it has been going on for some time now. The idea of the community is to keep the user active in the platform even after they are done with what they came for.
This is obvious and I believe the least reason why casino provide such service is just being special and different from other casino service cause the service is not common that's why most people still insist playing their game and nothing else. For example, if I get to enjoy such service I will prefer using the casino but I can't go around searching for a casino rendering this feature and I think that's what the op is asking. Most people can't do without this special service meanwhile some gamblers can gamble comfortable without this special service so I understand when gamblers can do comfortable without the features

Pretty sure a lot of the A-list online casinos like stake either has customer service support, blogs, and forums to help their users find company and support for all things gambling, some even go so far as to create announcement and discussion threads in this very forum to promote further discussion and information sharing amongst their users and potential customers. And while I don't particularly look for these features per se (except customer service, I always make sure the casino I play in's got a comprehensive customer service system that is created to fully assist me with all the things I would need help with), these are amazing additions I wouldn't mind the casino I would entrust my money on having. Plus it's way fun talking to people and discussing ideas within and outside the gambling world, so forums and discussion boards generally help.

Of course not every site who has these can be considered "reputable" or "honest" from these alone, they still have shit to show for before they can really garner the trust of the people, but generally speaking, a casino created to run the pockets of their users wouldn't go so far as to include features meant to hear from their customers to make their site better if the intent is to fool them out of their hard-earned money anyway.

That's it, many gamblers don't even have time to even read the terms and conditions that is on casino site talk much of going through community of casino.  What most gamblers just have to do with casino is to play games and nothing more. A casino that has community for customers is a good one , and it won't be bad if customers go through it. With a feature like this you will get to know if a casino is a good one to play gambling or not, because if it a casino that is not good to customers, the people in the casino group or community would lay some complain and you will see for yourself if it is a good casino for you to continue with.

After reading the articles or being part of the community, will it increase my chances of winning? I don't think anyone cares about any of that and they're never yardsticks in choosing a casinos. IMO, the idea of having a community on Telegram, reddit, discord etc, is to advertise and introduce news features, promos and competitions to the gamblers. I don't know about others but I kind of find it difficult browsing through the casino, looking for new events, competitions etc. So bringing such events to the group is the essence of the having a community.
The essence why people would even join such casino community is to perhaps learn more or try to earn by being active and productive towards issues that may be the future prospects design.
There's no big deal about it and anyone can decide to join or not and it would be fine same way.
Even crypto exchanges have such forums and community and it is not a yardstick why they perform any better, except for the fact that the exchange fees or in this case, gambling rewards remain same and is a decision by the management of the online platform.

There’s a lot of blog site already, though if the blog talks about general infos about gambling then it’s ok and as long as there’s no bias and no conflict of interest.

Having a forum on your own site can cause trust issues especially if that forum is being controlled by the casinos site itself since they can filter out the topics and might prevent any topic that is against the site, though this is ok but for me this should not only the basis in choosing a casino site to gamble with.

I'd say more of their community than of the blogs and forums. But a forum that is built through other means especially here, that's already an established one is better.

While the others that are starting to build their own reputation and community to start with, they're having a hard time but those that are able to gain trust from the community really differ on how they're going to market themselves.

Why market? It's normal to market still those features that they have for their users to know the existence of features that they have.

I don't care if they have forums or blogs. I honestly never read blogs run by any business. I'd have to be heavily invested in something to read a blog. For instance if I bought an apartment in a building that's under construction, I'd maybe follow the blog to see how they're building it and if there are no holdups. In case of casinos I'm rarely there so I don't have time to read blogs when I find an hour in my busy schedule to gamble. The only positive thing about casinos that do these things is that you can read all the complaints, but that's only as long as they don't moderate these, so you can never be sure.

No, this feature isn't important for me when choosing a casino where to play, because it doesn't really influence anything on the dynamics of the website, neither says anything about the its reputation. It's just an extra feature for sharing news and hints related to the gambling universe, although we can already access this same content on Google with a much larger range of informations disponible to us in real time. So, always I want to read something about gambling I go to Google for a general research, despite casinos having their own blogs and articles. If something written by those casinos is relevant, it will show highlighted on Google, anyway.

Well, sometimes casinos have their blogs to inform their customers, there is a casino like bitcasino.io that basically publishes high quality articles to educate, and the truth is they are very good, I have learned a lot from there, in fact I know more about each game because the articles are very detailed and give you what one as a player seeks to have, then in view of these things we can Generate more knowledge, the more knowledge does not mean that we win more, but it does mean that we will have a better understanding of the games that we play We are playing and that is good, information for me is gold, but everyone has their own perception, but that is how I see it.

I don't take them into account at all. I honestly don't care if there's a way to communicate with other gamblers and most if not all of the casinos that I used over the years did not have that feature.

In my case it helps that I've been here for a few years and played on early versions of crypto casinos and nobody had built in forums back then. A chatbox was rare at the time and I've never even used it because mostly people were saying high or spamming.

Blogs have become a common feature and indeed needed by all casinos so that every user who logs in can read any announcements related to the casino.

But for forums that discuss about the casino or all kinds of anything that casino users complain about, I think this forum is quite adequate.
If you have to use the casino's internal forum, it will only put an excessive load on the casino website and not a good place.

Bitcointalk forums are already a good place to brainstorm ideas about any casino and just create a dedicated casino thread which one to discuss.

Well a community will always matter along with a platform's reputation given how many gambling sites are a fraud. This will be a huge help for those players who are seeking legitimate gambling sites they can entrust their money with. Personally I don't trust reviews alone posted in the gambling site itself simply because it can easily be created for the purpose of promoting the platform's credibility. It would be much better to hear directly from other gamblers about their experience to certain platforms just like with different discussions in this forum. So yes, it could be a gret feature especially for the new ones or those which are still seeking to establish their gambling site in this industry. There are already telegram channels on most gambling sites but it would be a lot better if there will also be in other platforms.

Yup they are a factor if there is at least a live community that have discussions about the gambling website.

The existence and presence of forums, social platforms, and discussions are factors that strengthen the legitimacy of a gambling website. The fact that an online gambling platform created a designated thread/community in order to discuss any kind of improvement or at least have a community for socialization are green flags. It also implies that the casino values having discussions that can strengthen the community as a whole.

A gambling platform is nothing without a community. This is also the reason on why this forum, sometimes, serves as the community of these online gambling websites due to the presence of several ANN threads of gambling websites here.

Though this may be the case, this really depends on the online gambling platform if they have this kind of service or not. I do think that having an active ANN thread in this forum satisfies that requirement of having a community, without a need of implementing a separate community on their website.

No its not my consideration I prefer on the reputation and trustworthiness of the platform, the games and the giveaways they can offer, when I'm in a  gambling platform my priority is to play I am already active here in Bitcointalk so why do I need to join in a forum inside the casino platform and besides there's diversity of discussion here and since the casino own the forum they can restrict you if you complain about their platform.

Having their own forum is good for a casino so new players will see how active their community but its the least on what will I look for a casino when looking for one.

Are users read the casino blogs before or while they gamble? personally I'm not interested to read blogs.

Forums only work if the casino is big and have a lot gamblers who stick with the casino, while most of new casino which have forums is like in graveyard. It's better for them to communicate in this forum if they have something important to discussed.

If the casino forum allows signature advertising, I think crypto casinos will be good to advertise there as well  Grin Maybe not BBcode though not all forums are using simple machines but having a link in the signature will already be enough.

Forums for the casinos aren't necessary but it could really generate engagement from users and experiences from its users will make it interesting for the newcomers in crypto. Forums could be a good support for each other if someone has some issues inside the casino.

These additional features are added by the casinos to keep the user engagement even at the time they don't want to make any bet because they know that longer you stay the chances of coming back to make a bet is higher.

Myself not really interested on those because I feel these things can be manipulative if we have shown what they wanted us to see but interacting with community is good thing cause we can see what are the things going around in the gambling related field.

Some gamblers do like to communicate or interact with other players on the casino, blog/forum where they can talk like what we do in this forum, it can be one thing to consider by these gamblers.
However I believe that this thing is not that important to gamblers, even if there is no blog/forum, gamblers will still choose the casino they like based on their own preferences (games, offers such as promo or tournament, rewards, etc).
Basically blog/forum by online casino is created by the casino to build their own community, to make the players interact to each others while at the same time the casino may provide some promotions on the forum.

Apart from the blog and/or forum the OP mentioned, I think that for those user who like to engage in a conversation with others, a chat is also a very interesting feature, so they can talk in real time. I have seen it in other sites too, like exchanges.

I don't know either the impact that having a chat or not having it would have in the election of one casino over the rest, though.

I avoid this kind of thing. I know those blogs can be useful when there's a need for an explanation of something but somehow you will learn everything while you are playing.
Forums on the other hand, I tried entering the forums of one gambling site and I can say I love how active the moderators are when they are answering queries from forum members and then making a contest. I even got tipped by one of the members there just voting for the anniversary picture contest of the gambling site.
It's okay but I don't use a lot of my time reading there. I mean, I'd rather be in this forum where everything about gambling and cryptocurrencies is here and it's fun to read all the analysis of other members who uses different gambling sites or sports bookies.

Many casino that I know have some kind of communities where their users interact and receive assistance from the support in real time. They might all use the same thing, some might forum kind of platform while other use discord and or Telegram. The type of platform is really that much of importance, as long as it is doing the job of bringing the users together to interact directly with the support and there is proper dissemination of information, I think the job is done. I actually watch out for this community when choosing a casino to use because I wouldn't want to use a casino that are not in touch with their users. This can be dangerous especially when help is needed.

I think that the blog feature on the casino website is to increase traffic from search engines through SEO, because there are many articles that are usually deliberately published by the casino to attract potential customers to read on the website and later register there too. And for the forum, it was developed to be a place for users to interact and discuss various things at the casino. Usually it is developed to accommodate users who want to chat or share things about gambling or casino services.

Do you by chance consider these features when assessing and selecting which casinos to join and play on?

For blogs, I'm not really interested in that, but for forums it's quite important for me. Because the existence of this forum allows me to discuss with other gamblers or ask questions that I think need to be asked. Just imagine if the casino didn't have a forum feature, meaning there were lots of questions or various things that users wanted to talk about or discuss but the casino couldn't accommodate them. It would be a drawback for a casino if it did not provide this feature.

These features are actually an advanced marketing technique for casinos that have been operating for a long time, have a good reputation and have many customers.
New casinos that dont have many players do not need features like that, instead they need to be active in public forums and try to get their platforms reviewed by famous bloggers.

Normally, I'd just go towards a forum such as bitcointalk when I want to learn more about gambling strategies, news, updates, and just to hang out. If the platform has a trollbox, that's more than enough for my consumption and I can get answers from the people or to the community moderators themselves directly in a fast and more efficient manner compared to forums. Blogs are okay too, but that's something I rarely read because if I want to get updates on a crypto casino, I'll just go here on this forum and get my questions answered if I have further questions on whatever update they may have for users.
You can't be more right, it's a good strategy for crypto casinos to invest their time in posting here on the forum and interacting with the folks. However, the casino investing in its own blog or community on the platform can be good for SEO.
Mainly for me as I'm a beginner and have never bet in online casinos before, I think it'd help, there may be lots of cool tips here on the forum too, if you could give me some threads it'd be interesting and I'll appreciate a lot.

I do agree with most of the posters here, it's not a must for us gamblers to play on casinos that does/doesn't have blogs at all. And for those who are playing at Stake, one of the first casino, have their own forum and maybe majority here didn't know that but still they played at Stake because of it's reputation.

So this is not a must have for crypto based casinos, and there are a lot of casinos that born during the pandemic that up to this day don't have their own forum. But the question is how they can reach to their customers?  Well there are many ways and one of them is thru their official social media account, or even in their ANN thread here.

Good question, but personally? No, I've known casinos that have their own forums and most of them don't. But it doesn't matter, as long as you or us gamblers can trust that casinos, I think it's fair enough to say that this is the least criteria that we look for a casino before we can play.

It's more on the reputation that they have built through out the years or if they are just starting out, at least there are no scam accusations or if there are, it is being solved by the casino themselves and they try to be transparent.

I don't consider them. But when I found out about Stake's forum, that's when I told myself it's also a good idea to check if the other gambling sites have their own forums. That way, they can answer questions that cannot be answered in this forum or in the chat place because of the multiple chats incoming. It helps resolve problems because it's not just the support that can answer but also the community of the forum who may have experienced the same problem. The raffles and other promos are also a great way to boosts the incoming customers.

Nah!! I don’t include this as a criteria for choosing the right casino for me - if you take a look at those casinos communities you’ll see that there’s a less usage for it, most gamblers prefer using chat box rather than going to the casino forum to create a post there.

Bcgame has a forum and I don’t think people use it the way they do with chat box - with forum it will take some time before you get response but for the chatbox you instantly get a response because of the activeness of the chat. Most forum are only used to announce promotions like that of bcgame it’s not suited for chat.

Actually no, but it's better if they have that as it could be use to gather or create community within the site. Also if there's concern or anything related, people can open up a thread there and help each other along with their moderators.

Also if they announce competitions or any events, they can target their audience in the website itself instead of using other forum like Bitcointalk. Though it's much transparent here and more audience, but to answer your question, I don't care whether there's a blog or forum within the site or no as long as the site is safe and they have the games or leagues that I want.

I personally don't consider if the casino has its own blog/forum, I read the news and related articles elsewhere, as for interacting with the community there are other ways to do it, much better in my opinion.

The only reason these forums are good is that they have some interesting promotions, but even those promotions are shared in other places like Telegram, social networks, and other places (like this forum). So I don't see anything special in casino forums, except that I don't visit them, it doesn't matter to me if the casino has them or not.

No, this feature is just an additional feature provided by the casino to give their players a place to interact with other players. This feature is usually come later once the casino has many players. Some people may consider this feature to choose a casino if there are some great offers in the forum such as regular giveaways, tournaments, etc. Of course if there are also many gamblers who do not care about it at all because their main purpose is just to gamble.

Although I want a casino where it is possible to have some kind of social interaction between me and other gamblers, not just in my region but also aside, so that we can share ideas and other forms of the games that we share an interest in, if I see such a casino with those features, I won't allow it to blind me to check on other things, but I will really give it a try as it's another means to attract and keep customers.
The engagements there will be strictly around the gambling website, issues and fixes, new games and all. Even their support will have reduced work as I like to think that most of the issues that do not require sending an email can be sorted out from members of the casino website forum. It is also a plus for the casinos as they can send promotional packages, bonus and all to their forum as a pinned message. Some casino may not have this feature because it may require additional manpower and increased operational cost. That's why this feature may just absent. And new customers do not seem to mind.

Davidvictorson you are very right with your statement because when you belong to a gambling sites forum or group, you will be open to alot of information regarding to the games and the site at the same time, this is because from players discussions alot of questions will be asked and answered as well, and that will go a long way in to keep the Gamblers informed and at the same time help gambler's to solve issues that could have ordinarily make them to reach the team via email and having to wait to get a response.

Communication is very important and for gambler's communicating with a fellow gambler make your understand better mostly when the question borders on general experience of the casino in question.

I do think it's a plus since they do giveaways there as well lol but I don't think it has a heavy influence in me 🤔

When it comes to forums, I actually prefer it if it's not owned by the casino and a complete third party where they don't have powers like modifying any core stuff thus, bringing more authenticity in the conversation. On top off my head, great examples are bitcointalk and casino.guru.

If you tell me a casino has good reputation and keep a close ties in those kind of communities, for sure, it will have a great influence in me.

Do you by chance consider these features when assessing and selecting which casinos to join and play on?

What I can like social interaction for is if I have problem, I will be able to ask about it on the social feature of the gambling site but since I have been gambling on gambling sites, the sites are easy and not too technical to ask a question about. The problem I have can not be solved by other people except the customer care of the gambling site and that makes something like that to be useless for me. I prefer to only be gambling on the gambling site.

I think, casinos have tried as much as possible to always enlightened and inform their clients and some of them go to that length of trying to bring gambler's together in chat room or even forum so as to discuss and share information with one another, and also admin give out information from such forums or chat group, almost all the casinos have this features.
If you checked the ratio of the effectiveness of this features to the gambler and also how it help the casino to pass out information and education to their clients such features is most needed, and not only casinos that have such features even exchange have similar features too, because of the importance of information and awareness building.

I agree with the others, where the reputation of the casino is the most important about the features of the casino will definitely attach importance to what is needed there is also a matter of articles that read without dying this site is still less attractive to clients.

One way or another, forum or social media channels will give some information that you can't find over the net. Like for example, their promos and other ongoing contests, if you are not actively accessing their site itself, you can read it via their social media channel. So once you stumbled it in their socmed, it will give you reason to access the site to further check the ongoing promos.

For blogs, definitely not. The only blogs I'd ever probably read are about bug exploits, framework changes, and stuff related to that. What do they even write with casino blogs anyway? About how they managed to suck x amount of money from their y amount of customers?

Forum wise I think I'd participate though. A lot better than a blog at least since it provides interaction between various users, maybe even admins and casino owners if they join in. Also opens up an open discussion on different topics like bug fix, exploits, site changes and stuff like that.

No but it's a plus if the casino has that. Like for stake, they've got their own forum. But who doesn't have nowadays? a sub-reddit can be its own forum but I get the idea without leaving the website but if it's going to be more popular than the one that they've made then it's best to just stick to that sub-reddit of their casino. It's not really a factor though but I think the advantage is that we're already here in bitcointalk, the threads from the casinos in here have its own community to help and maintain it and that's why the most known have their own representatives.

Otherwise, this isn't a matter of concern of the other casinos. But, just take a look at the most reputable ones. They are not ignoring the boards and threads here especially their announcement threads, it's also an outlet for them to share promos and as well as read the thoughts and complaints of their customers. That's why for someone, this is an important thing but as I've said, we've got the upperhand because many of the popular casinos are already here and we don't have to register elsewhere just to convey messages to them if the on-site support isn't replying yet.

If those blogs have information that I am interested in learning, I would definitely spend some time reading them. Some blogs in these casinos could contain some lessons that will make you a good gambler, I think it is worth reading. I am not a fan of joining communities, so this feature in casinos doesn't attract me. I prefer to play games and contact the support staff if I have any issues. One of the reasons why I don't like interactions on social channels is to avoid scams.

Nevertheless, I don't care about any of these features while selecting a casino because other factors such as reputation, effective customer support, privacy, bonuses, and fairness matter more to me.

There are two cases.

1.- Traditional gaming casinos:
Royalties and prizes that are awarded in these forums, for example bc.game, has its own forum, in which they are very active in terms of promotions.  Some of that is seen here in Games & Rounds.

2.-Poker:
In the case of poker I would say that at a beginner level it is essential, there are casinos that have forum, where they even teach how to play/gambling, they have leagues, etc.

Finally, it's something that has to do with your level of experience in the game, and then with your level of desire to learn and in the process take some royalties.
