There are already so many cryptocurrency news websites.

Almost with all the same news, poorly written.
There are few exceptions around like cointelegraph and ccn with superior quality

Those are sources which write news; this tool just aggreagates them; It takes in crypto and non-crypto sources as well (like TechCrunch, CNN, Fox etc..)

The point is to create a tool that'll give you *actionable data*; information that you can use to make more educated trades/investments with. So news articles is just one portion of the kind of information

That doesnt look like anything smaller to me but its big one. Because you have listed lots of module in your post and which means it will take huge number of resources along with the workers behind it working all the time to input the real data feed. So how this is going to happen anyway ? Is there are project you are opening for it, like an ICO or something? Because if this is carved professionally then it can really turn out to be the project of next year. It wont last enough if the data provided by this portal turns out to be poor one. But overall good idea.

Thank you! The plan is to roll it out in modules. To start with we're adding in features for the trading, tracking of ICOs and built-in chat; to get to the level of a Bloomberg terminal will take time since we're trying to do what they've been doing for 30 years in just 2 years.

yes, there will be an ICO which will pay out 25% of the site's monthly revenue as dividends to token holders. I do have a team for data-entry Smiley I hope you can try the platform out! The first alpha version of it is live: https://github.com/cryptocontrol/trading-terminal

- Yes, if the terminal is able to flag fake photos.

- The problem I am thinking about, with Social trends about cryptocurrencies, is a big percentage of the activity is incentivized/forced, See yourself all the ICO campaigns, etc. Quite difficult to make an accurate analysis with it.

- Sentiment twitter/reddit/telegram/websites: Similar to Microsoft Flow? Yes, it's good to monitor a brand but I didn't"t think about using it to extract sentiments.

- Trading across crypto exchanges is a nice feature if the server doesn't store the users API keys.

True; a lot of ICOs pay for social media campaigns and have high following; What we've decided to do for our upcoming launch is to also include datapoints from ICO rating agencies. (I know a friend who'd flip ICOs with low rating but huge social media following)

That truly sounds interesting and would be very helpful to all crypto enthusiast specially on this forum. Sounds like a combination features of crypto news, coinmarketcap and tradingview website. It would be nice if it will also have its own mobile app and also a trading simulation. Overall, it looks like your bloomberg for crypto will be complicated to build, maintain and talented team members.

Yes, you're right; we have most of the experience and the team already; you can checkout the first version of the terminal we've released which basically let's you trade across different exchanges like Bitfinex, Bittrex and Binance. Pretty soon we'll implement more of the features. Right now not available as a mobile app; we've decided to build a desktop app instead.

check it out! https://github.com/cryptocontrol/trading-terminal

Seems like a good idear. In my personal opinion, yes there are a lot of news sites out there but they are biased or just straight up shit. Best news I get is from my network at the moment instead of the news websites. Also a point to consider is that if you are launching now in the next couple of months, its going to be dry because of the market. It will be a lot of work to keep up the news flow without much reward. Its good to settle in the market and get your roots in the ground but the bear market brings zero to no new vistors to your site. (speaking from experience)

Further to that ICO's are barely scraping by and dont have a lot of marketing budget at the moment. Try selling advertisement packages with no visitors. Its like selling air basicly haha. One thing you do got going for you is that people might want to guest post on your site just for the backlinks, use this to your advantage. When the bull market does come in whenever that is and you are settled in, you can ride the wave and the value of your site basicly sells itself. Just my 2 cents.

Ps. If you got your product ready, PM me and I will review it and get you listed as a news source on my Crypto directory (https://crypthena.com/cryptocurrency-news/). Wishing you all the best luck with your product.

Hey guys!

I'm building a bloomberg terminal for crypto. A tool that'll give you massive amounts of trading information in real-time. You'll get access to 1,000s of unique data-points(ICOs, Exchanges, ETFs, Futures, Indexes, Options, etc).  It's supposed to make life easy for traders & hopefully make them trade smarter. I've been on it for a really long time and would like to know your thoughts about this.

Some other features that I'm working on are -
- In-depth information about ICOs (founders/ratings/social...)
- Social trends about cryptocurrencies
- Sentiment across twitter/reddit/telegram/websites
- Crypto indexes, futures, options and other financial instruments
- Real-time alerts
- Trading across 30+ exchanges (Binance, Bitfinex, GDAX...)
- In-depth research papers

Let me know what you think about this...

you would require a big team to constantly maintain large flow of information. well, you can start one part of the time, expand when available. running a bloomberg like terminal is like running a news production. take it slow. its a good path.

With that further developments of crypto there's a lot of news around us and with Bloomberg it's a great stories behind us. I must expect better results for this scenario and with their massive influence to the public, I guess that will bring huge impact to bitcoin's journey in terms of demand.
