Only some people know that I'm fairly familiar with cryptocurrencies and of these even fewer actually know that I have a personal stake in it. So crypto discussions usually don't affect me personally and I just get to be the bystander and watch the Dunning-Kruger effect unfold.

Whenever people dismiss Bitcoin as a bad investment (which is their right to do) I just smile to myself, knowing that most of them either have been dismissing Bitcoin since 2013, are invested in questionable alts or sometimes both. It's their loss, not mine. Or maybe in the long run crypto will utterly fail and they will be proven right after all, but it doesn't matter really. I made my choices, they made theirs, bitching or gloating about either decision is just bad form.

Bitcoin is beating capitalism at its own game. The generations before us choose capitalism and reaped most its gains. The generation now is simply entering the next level of play, that's all there is to it.

I mean there's always going to be people that are jealous of others, crypto is just like any sort of investment and you're going to receive hate (more so online) due to it. It happens, though it's something that you should ignore and take lightly.

People wish they were able to see the growth of the bitcoin market and take it out on people who actually did, not surprising in the least. I hope you just ignore the haters and continue doing what you're doing. Grats for making a good chunk of change!

If I made 4x my original investment, there wouldn't be any words in the language that could get me upset--so don't let the haters get you down.

What it sounds like is ignorance and jealousy.   Not saying your people suck, but be careful who you associate with.  If you hang out with 11 losers, you'll probably end up making it an even dozen.

Me, I could've made that kind of profit had I just held at $2000.  I've been in crypto since bitcoin was at $200-$400, so I missed out on even bigger gains. Oh well. And most people I know haven't even got a clue what bitcoin is, so there's no negativity about crypto in my life.

It's so interesting this past month or so. So Bitcoin has been hovering around 10,000. The moment that happened, one or two people would message me on various platforms trying to bash me and my whole generation. I'm sitting here thinking to myself: I bought in at the $2000 level, what grounds do you have to criticize someone who made 4X what they put in and still make a daily income from it?

There seem to be two problems wit bitcoin adoption. FOMO makes people lose their minds and some people actively fight against Bitcoin and for that matter change because they are on the losing side.

The other problem is this stupid generation war. If Generation Y made a car that ran on water...would you reject that? If baby boomers all jumped off a bridge...woud you be ok with that?

Do you think i'm so dumb as to not have savings and diversify into other markets...NO. XD

Sometimes I feel like people don't want to live in reality. it's crazy.

Stay frosty everyone! HODL (with interest) and diversify!
