The current BNB erc20 deposit are still working on Binance so it will automatically converted into BNB chain if you want to withdraw it in your own wallet after you deposit, and for you to check it yourself you can login in your Binance account, go to deposit BNB then on deposit select ERC 20 you will see a red info that says "This deposit address supports ERC20 tokens. We will automatically convert your tokens to the Mainnet."

i think that is only valid for binance dex? i am not quite sure. i am in the usa, and we are stuck on binanceus. a crappier version from what i can tell. this is great info tho! hope your right

The token swap happened two years ago but they didn't mentioned any time frame for doing it so you can still convert BNB erc20 to BNB coins by simply sending it to their exchange erc20 address, and also you can contact Binance team prior sending tokens to clarify and hope you will be rich now since BNB increased 250x in this bull run since the time you are talking about. I can only advise you to ask for a little help, to @TryNinja, on this matter.

maybe, he understands the problem you are experiencing right now.

Try to ask him for a solution, maybe he can help you.

that would be fantastic! if i had to tell my brother i lost our tokens due to negligence.......phew)
No problem. Do test it out with the minimum amount required by Binance before sending all. You'll have to pay for high eth gas fees but that's probably small in your case as I'm pretty sure you're holding erc-20 BNBs that are worth thousands now (once converted).

oh boy!! I never thought there was a window to exchange. Never occurred to me that there might be any expiration. oh god i hope this isn't true! i have a support ticket with binance, but its been a week and still waiting a reply
You'll probably have to wait longer as all exchange support are expected to be overwhelmed during a bullrun. AFAIK, they still allow conversion of erc-20 BNB to the native coin. You just need to send them to your Binance ethereum deposit account and they will automatically convert them for you (source).

edit: @shinratensei_ beats me to it.

If we refer to the operating system and applications, there are times when both of these things will expire, but if Binance is able to change the old to the new one, they will automatically be able to provide a solution for you, so the ticket you have given is very precise.

I bought a couple bnb tokens 3 years ago and put them on my ledger. I have revived my ledger back from the dead recently, but I cannot move my bnb tokens, because they aren't tokens anymore. They converted to coins last year. Does anyone know how to convert these tokens to coins?  There any free options to get this done?

You can still convert it dude and you may have followed this guide

https://binance.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360027291331-Binance-Completes-BNB-Mainnet-Swap-and-Opens-Deposits-Withdrawals

What you need to do to send your BNB ERC20 to your ERC20 Binance account (address) and it will be converted automatically to the new BNB. I do suggest you try with a small amount to check whether it's still working or not.

Goodluck

Of the window for converting from token to coin has not close then you may be able to convert you bnb token to bnb coin but if it has then am afraid you have lose your tokens,  just contact the bnb team to know exactly what you stand to face.

Have you try to access your bnb wallet with your ETH private key or passphrase? I think you could access your bnb that way.
