It is most likely as @Jawhead999 pointed out. The scammers may pitch different absurd stories but the trick is always the same, it is to make the victim think they own the coins.

1. HOW TO CONVERT NON SPENDABLE TO SPENDABLE BTC
2. Watch-only Address / Private key
3. Non-spendable Bitcoins and Imported wallet address (i should warn you, it's a wall of text lol)
4. Blockchain.info - WatchOnly address scam
5. Non Spendable Bitcoins (Fake funds and Watch only)

It's easy to abuse hence why there should be sufficient warnings.
Electrum has the warning done right for this, straight forward and not too easy to ignore. It also pops up every time you open your watch only wallet.

Trust wallet is nowhere near, it's either too ambiguous or easy to get ignored.

Or the BNB they are sending to the wallets could actually fake BNB and not the genuine one. When the victim tries to swap it in a decentralized exchange like Pancake swap, they give the scammer access to withdraw other tokens from the address.

I think I read this kind of scam from somewhere.

I did not heard the name of this wallet ever. But what the name Watch-Wallet that means you just can see your balance and maybe the usd value too. According to your screenshots it's showing they asking to import a wallet address which you can monitor there. So they never ask any private key so I think this could not be scam or something bad. If you would like to show your portfolio you can use their service.

"Sell X address worth 1 Bitcoin for $500 only" that's what the ordinary scammer wrote, targeting newbie user who doesn't know what is watch only wallet.

BNB watch wallet isn't scam, it's same as Bitcoin watch wallet to monitor the balance and transaction history.

I've been seeing these BNB addresses imported on Trust wallet on social media platforms, with individuals being told that after each successful address importing, $500 worth of BNB will be put into their wallet. I understand this is a scam effort, but I'm bewildered as to why they're giving random people bnb addresses to import which they can not withdraw from a watch wallet.
