We decided to start again. Please visit.
www.boiledbrains.com

What do you mean by starting again? AFAIK your site is already been here for some time but it has always less attraction to many people. May be you can start some campaign or may be give some promotion since you said thst your site is back online again. You really need to think out some good feature to attract people or it will be dead

Because I have problem with "no players online" I think about new feature.
Now, first player join to the game and waiting for second player. Because he is waiting long, he leave table.
After develop new function first player join the game. He waiting for second player. Because he is waiting long, he leave table, but his login will on this table and second player can join to his game . When rist player return to game this game will be continue.
What do you think about it?

It seems like an ok fun idea but there's no one on the site at the moment. Is that typical, or do you usually have a few people playing? I think I see a comp that I can play so I'll try that out.

- ya it won't work for me either. I should have read the previous post.

Hello again.
Last changes:
-I simplified layout
-I added new instruction
-I added 'vs COMP' mode
-I changed some rules of the game
Have fun!
www.boiledbrains.com
It was nice knowing that you are still working on your site for improvement. Honestly, it looks better now. Is vs COMP mode already working on log in as guest? If yes, it should allow a user to start playing without other player, right? I tried it but the status didn't change from "WAITING FOR PLAYER".

I tried few times game, i never seen anything like this before, its some kind of multiplayer snake game. Its fun, but i tried only against comp, and i have to ask why is start number different every time? Sometimes i have six moves, and sometimes there are 3 moves available. Its nice that we don't have to register to try game.

I am not able to find any players, and there's no info about what the game is about on the site, therefore I don't know if I like it or not.

Here's some advice: Record actual gameplay of how the game works and upload it to youtube, then attach it to the OP of this thread and on the website so people can know what this is about.
Well, there is detailed explanation of the game rules when you click word - "Help Me!" below login screen. You will be able to understand (or at least know what is this all about).
But I agree, presenting new game and forcing players to create account. before they could play it is not exactly good idea. Most of potential players just leave before registering.

I hope the new version will be perfect and will have a good show on your website. I will wait for that version before playing other games on your site. and add some sign up bonus to your site in the coming version. We will test the site to use that bonus and your bonus will invite more players.

How does the move turns get generated?  Like one time I will get 5 moves, then 6 moves, is it all random?  If so it wouldn't really be a game of skill it would be luck based randomly generated numbers, and if so can you prove they are randomly generated?

I am working on it  and in few days I publish new version Boiled Brains.
The explanation which you have made for users to understand how your game work is too complicated. I have read it for many times before i can clearly know how to play it. Please make it shorter and more simple. It will bring more players to your site
I think if you click on help me link then you will find some images at there and from that images you can easily understand that how two players play that game and how you will defeat your opponent in that game.

I tried to visit the page but it shows that the game is still unresponsive. No one is there playing. There are alots of rooms for improvement. I suggest to place something like a demo so players can understand what is the goal of the game and on how to win against your competitor. If i see improvements on the game, no one knows maybe ,I will play the game someday.
Please be patient. I new version every player can try play game without waiting for other player.

Provided the message you are sending is not mainly for marketing purposes just to make money or gain some advantage, then it cannot be termed as spam. It is not bad if you interact with users who you have same interest with, but let the interaction not be a harmful one so that everyone can enjoy the game.

So, what should I do to play? I'm sorry but I don't get it. I have entered the game and then this "WAITING" has appeard, so I waited and then 6 blue squares were appearing on the top of the existing square, one by one. Then I've got this: "Remained moves: 3". What should I do next? I was clicking on almost every square but nothing happened.

Obviously, it should be "remaining moves". As I got it, you should click on a square either on the right of your first red square or beneath it. Diagonal moves are not allowed. Also, if I have got stuck and I have nowhere to go, should it be considered as my defeat? I cannot move back on my own squares.
Today I fixed it.

I tried to play again, but nothing happens if I click on a table row representing a user who seems to have deposited some funds. I infer that I cannot play with players that have deposits while I don't. Besides, how can players agree on the bet amount or play just for the fun of it?
If choose table with 0 mBTC and there any player will be online game will be started.
You can't choose table with non zero entry fee,  if you haven't enough cash.

If I got it right, you can only play with players who have the same amount of funds in their accounts? But this makes no sense obviously. You may not want to stake all your deposit in a single game, but I don't see where you can set the amount you want to wager. It seems to me that you need to rethink and redesign the whole process of choosing your opponent and starting the game.

And what does the table ID actually represent?

Had tryed it as guest and find it very funny and for a pvp game very good.
But there are a few think they need to get fixed

http://j75i.imgup.net/gamedade.png

here is a autolose needed for blue or the "loser" will wait as long as possible. Maybe a move time counter will solved this.

A small chat will also be very nice and a maybe to see how many moves your enemy will have after your move
I added chat windows below board game.

Now, when any player disconnect - connected player will be winner.
Now I want to change site layout.

I thinking about sending e-mail to other players when any player will be online. But I don't want to be spammer. What do you think about it?

You could just show it on the site itself which players are currently online, which of them are waiting and which are now playing. Indeed, you should also set a rather small inactivity timeout after which the player should be logged off so as not to confuse those looking for an opponent. Sending unsolicited e-mails is a big no-no, obviously.

I really like this, perhaps you could add a live chat feature as well?

A revange button after you lose to bet the same player again

While this idea is interesting, I don't like this option, as perhaps your opponent doesn't want to gamble more or wants to stop for the day. I think this could be implemented, but with the option for the person challenged to decline playing again.

Other people have made deposits without any problems, if you are worried, just play with small amounts of bitcoin, and when you make an account, don't use the same password as you use on other sites. OP can't actually "hijack your wallet" from his gambling site.

Is it skill based or totally luck?
Skill=80%
Luck=20%

The game is simple, and it evidently has a relatively small number of possible moves/turnes. Therefore, with a perfect strategy it would mean either a 100% win or draw, just like in a tic-tac-toe game, when you make the first move. Such a strategy should exist, and after it is found the game will make no sense any more. More difficult games would still face the issue of playing against bots that could quickly find how to either win or end in a draw in all cases.
Because before every turn the number of movements is random, I think finding 100%-winning may be difficult.

I didn't know that the number of movements is randomly determined. I tried to play there but I couldn't find anyone to play with. What is the range within which this number is expected to change? Is it determined after your opponent makes his turn? Also, dice sites have a system which is called "provably fair play", so how could we be 100% sure that we would not be playing against the "house" hiding behind some user, if things get serious?

Is it skill based or totally luck?
Skill=80%
Luck=20%

I added placeholders in the login input. In the future I rebuild login panel.
Current the biggest problem with testing is '0 users online'. So I added alert email. When any user join to the table I receive e-mail. If I will be available, I join to the game.
I know this project isn't polished, but I promise In few weeks I will add many interesting functions.

I've not tried the game yet, but here is some feedback on the initial screen:

Change this:

To this:

To make it more obvious that it is an email and password field

Code:

to

Code:

Change the instructions too.
English clearly isn't your first language, but if you hire someone who natively speaks English, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Currently, it is rather hard to understand the instructions.
That is a nice work by you for the site it will make the new comers not to confuse and there is also a help me link that is also need to obvious as all the info about the game is lying at there

You really need to put information about each field in your start page, as it's unknown what you want (email and password in this case), and also, change the button to Login/Register as I searched quite a bit for the register button, since it only said login.

Interesting concept, but you should really add a free mode where people can have fun without risking anything and practice.

I just registered there and its new to me. Though i have not played it yet because there are no free trial, its a good idea because its very rare for me to see this kind of game that is bitcoin related. Just a few adjust on the design because its very simple and also add some more brain games. Goodluck.

Yeah, I also wanted to test it, but the login deterred me from doing that.
It looks a bit unfinished IMO, don't get me wrong, it can be something simple, but it needs to be more clear once you get to the site.
Apparently you can type anything on the login screen and service will let you in. After that I don't know what is going on as there was no way to start a game.
This game when done right has potential to be something different, but it is too early to even show this to public.

i like the concept of the game it's likely based on "TIC TAC TOE" or "XOX" in my opinion,  hope this game will be developed completely.

i tried to register on your site but's too complicated to join for a simple lay out, can see the text description where should i sign in?

Where should i register? i tried to register but i can't. "Not a valid e-mail address"?

I am over here http://boiledbrains.com/table/af9c91a6c91bb6da Cheesy
Are the number of moves random?

Yes, moves are random for both players. After I saw your post that you're online, I go back to the site and check if I can play. I clicked the Table ID of Table Cash 0 mBTC and I wait for a while. After several seconds, yay! Someone got online. I tried the game and it was fun. You really need to think a way on how to fill the last square filled by your opponent to win. Glad I won even just for a trial.  Grin  Here's the result (I'm the red one):
~

Suggestion to OP (@BoiledBrains), I think it would be better if we have a username? So that email won't be shown to the opponent.

Haha. That looks really fun. You can only place your move somewhere that's connected to your previous tile right?
That's a really great game.Gotta beat your opponent and win some coins. lol.
@OP, please add a clearer/more precise, 'rules' page or something. And I really hope you could get this to work.
Hah. Finally tried out the game.
@OP should add a chat box or something. I had to wait for my opponent to finally make a move. He probably didn't notice I made a move already,as I also didn't notice when he got there.Should be some way to ping them or something.Or a poke. Or a timer.

the idea of this game so amazing and the first time in the crypto world
but the layout and design looks no interesting
so boring maybe you have to change the layout background or colour
make it look more professional Smiley
On other side i am enjoy the game i try it on free game but i always lose maybe i have to learn more and set strategy Cheesy

Hmm. May I ask, how exactly you were able to try out a few rounds of the game? Did you play with a friend?

I went back to the site, see if anything changed,if I could play. Made me wonder how one is supposed to report
a bug with the game itself if one couldn't even play. Can't be expected to wait till another player to comes along.

Oh well. It's really still in the early stages. But the I really like the idea.

Good idea and concept, new and seems to be interesting. I can't say anything else, I just agree in what others have already mentioned -- layout, input boxes, instructions. That's all for now since I haven't tried playing yet. I think if you can fix all of that, many players will be interested to try it out. Having a guest account as you have said would be better too IMO, for free trial to those who don't want to sign up. I'm looking forward to try the better site. Good luck!

tried to play but nobody was online... any way, the idea is great but still need some improvements. A "how to" is a must.
and why "boiled brains"? i think you should change this name.. just my opinion tho.

OP has just written a how to play, you can now read it.

It looks like a very fun and interesting game OP, but is there a possibility that bots can be used to exploit this game?

Also, what % of deposits do you take?

The game itself is pretty interesting and I think it's got good potential. Now the site design is lacking.
And quite confusing. Add more info please. The log-in box has no labels. Then when I got in, it was the same. Totally no details whatsoever. You can look at other gaming websites, see what they put in their pages. All the infos players could possibly need.

But, the idea is good and it could work. The only one I've seen so far where one can win based on their skill and not just on luck.
You are right. I also surprised to see the game site of new concept without any info he have to hire a good developer/designer for the site and have to put some more efforts for to make it more attractive as he will earn much profit with this new game.

Your gaming idea is very good , if you really work more on the presentation and give more details about login , register and forget menu and more like other gaming web pages you can get details.

Idea will get success ,if you are having fund then try to obtain a professional web developer and do it.
he really need to develop more his game as that game is really much interesting and he may know or not but it is sure that people will like to go there with more interest and will play for longer that game.

Could you please write a short how-to? I watched the Tron movie a few times (I mean the remake), but I don't quite understand what is the purpose of the game. Is it to cover the square filled by your opponent during their last move? Also, the game help frame disappears after some delay.
I am inspired Tron game https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONg0rUogiEg
But I know "instruction" must be changed.

Is it skill based or totally luck?
Skill=80%
Luck=20%

I think it has a good potential, but it still need a lot of improvement

1. the log in box, you need to put some label so the user know what to input (email, password)
2. after I clicked "help me" while I am reading, the box automatically closed
3. I think for the instruction it is better make it using numbering, it is kind of difficult to read
4. I can't try the game because no other player available
5. Count of moves for turni s randoming before turn (turn is )

that is what i found, good luck on your project
Next version will be improved. All opinion motivated me.
