The altcoin known as BOLT has come under fire recently for some skeletons in its closet and for allegedly faking the view count on its sports app.

BOLT+ is a streaming app that claims to have some 3M global users. Specializing mainly in sports and live streaming, it is powered by BOLT tokens which are used to access its content. However, the project has come under fire recently for its questionable past.

Fake it till you make it? Not so fast though.

It was revealed that BOLT was just a rebrand of a failed company called SyQic, and they were just desperate enough to go into a token sale to continue misleading people.

They have simply “faked” the number of views of every video, but they were easily got caught as they just put the number of views as “fake” one and not live. Even if we view it many times, those numbers would not be changed.

To those who have invested in BOLT token, I’m sorry to say that this project had just destroyed their reputation due to the “fake” views generated in their videos. No disrespect, but projects like this should never mislead their users.
