People trust their doctor. The doctors trust the NIH. The NIH was run by Fauci. So, it's a trust issue. Fauci broke the trust by lying about all kinds of things when the people expected the truth.
Fauci had help in his lies. The help came from other parts of the government. But he is left holding the bag, so to speak. There are a lot of other people who are to blame besides Fauci. But Fauci allowed himself to be in the forefront. He is the one who was the actual liar to the people. People died, both because of Fauci's lies, and because he was being supported by other people who 'helped' him lie.
One of the major things that Fauci lied about when he knew all along, was that the Covid symptoms were the same as mild (not so mild) snake venom poisoning. Covid can be cured by anti-venom protocols... cured in 2 or 3 days. Fauci not only knew this, but he was one of the players who helped to set it up this way. Since he set it up, why would he let people know the truth? He is as guilty as sin of mass murder, both in the US, and around the world.
Did you watch the videos linked in the OP?... especially the Dr. Ardis video? This whole thing is explained there. It's worth it if you are interested in protecting yourself from Covid and a whole bunch of 'pandemic' illnesses coming down the pike.
